1) There is no more incentive for ikari at all
2) I became popular because I've been involved in all of those projects and with those people (and so many more than you don't know about). But no, I did not code any of them.

He wanted to contribute to a growing scene with a release to really spark homebrew creation, and it disappeared once he saw what it was being used for. Who would want to spend so much of their days working on something beautiful (like a painting) only to see it hung up in a bathroom at a bar and have piss get all over it?

Why would anyone need the source? People complained about the exclusion of the patch source in freeBOOT 0.03, and were told that if they truly cared about learning about the patching system and tinkering with the project, the old version would be perfectly suited for experimenting with patches.
