hey i do have some extra usb laying around so i sould be able to cut it and use it. Is that correct. I also have an zerpy not a falcon.

You cant just cut up a usb cable or lpt cable and solder it. If you do that theres resistors that have to be used. I used a Nand-X kit it works great.

Get with him, I'm sure he keeps originals somewhere just in case one gets sent back to him...

You will need to build a LPT cable or buy some type of spi nand flasher. Nand-X is for beginners and it's the easy way out, however a regular usb nand flasher only has 7 wires to solder...

You don't have any files he sent with the Jtag? It would REALLY help you out as I don't see YOU being able to do this, no offense...

Yeah your going to have to solder up to your nand points. Dont know what the patch had in it but.... it messed with something in your booter it sounds like
