heres what i did and it worked every time. JUST UNPUG THE OUTLET FROM THE WALL WAIT 5-10 MINUTES AND PLUG BACK IN trust me it works and it's that simple

same thing happened to me. what i do to fix it is unplug anything i have in the usb ports take the disck out of the trat shut the xbox off and hold it about 3 inches above some carpeted flooring and drop it with the side with the power button facing the ground.
