this is what i do.
i tilt the xbox so the tray is facing the ground and lightly hit the side of the xbox (5-10 times) so the disc laser moves forward a bit.
this worked for me hope it helps

Hitting the xbox where the disc tray is helps 2 sometiems

take apart tthe disk drive clean the laser then plug the drive back in and put the disk on it and magnet. ifit dosent work buy a new one if helped +rep

Inside your disc tray there should be this spinny thing. It's black. When I turn it, it works for me. Try that.

urrrrrr i hit my xbox where me disk tray is not too hard and it make a nosie like grrrrrrrr that lol i got scraed thinking it was going to eat me or something

The Laser Could Be Pushed Far Back;

1. You Can Open Your XBOX And Push The Lazer Down
2. Take It To A Console Repair Shop
