quiveringshadow wroteNope. Never even opened my Xbox before. What you're suggesting is that I should open it and blow all of the dust out of it then? And to open it will I need to refer to youtube?Marlins238 wrote I was playing MW2 earlier today and all of a sudden the message came up that says "This disc cannot be read." So I restarted my Xbox, cleaned the disc and then it just didn't recognize it was there by saying "Reading.." and then "Open Tray." I have put in other discs that have basically no scratches to them and they also don't work. Anyone know the problem here?

Its not dust man, I have my Xbox taken apart, and I cleaned the whole Xbox inside out.
Just listen to what I said.. Disc Trays only cost about $25 - $30 maybe.

You can do it yourself.
Like the post above said
"Take apart Xbox and clean it"
You just need to take apart your Xbox, take the 2 cords off of the old Disc Tray
And put in the new Disc Tray
It takes like 30 seconds to swap out Trays.
Hardest part will be taking the shell off the Xbox (Which is still easy)
Just make sure you have the right tools.
Hopefully this helped. -Jonny-
