Ok, well i turned on my jtag yesterday (just got it like 2 weeks ago from NinjaDefuse) and it got the 3 rings (section 1, 3, and 4 are illuminating red) and i checked the secondary error codes and i got 0102....

is this the X-Clamp fix?

Of what i found from a thread on TTG, it is this: 0102 - Error in the "Digital Backbone" (CPU/GPU/RAM), this is usually caused by a cold solder joint between the GPU and the mainboard.
There are two theories to fixing this one deals with the "X" clamps that hold down the chips. The other involves re-Heating the chips. DO NOT attempt either of these if your console is still under warranty. If your console is still under warranty return it to the store where it was purchased or call MS to have it replaced.

Please help! I WILL be hosting lobbies after i get it fixed because i am running TU6 right now (IDK how tho lol but it runs)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, is there a way that i can open the console without a case opening tool OR a torx screw driver?

thanks to anybody who is helpful and i will be +repping!

thats the thing with xenons, should always be expected that they have a really short life span. I suggest a reball from a local xbox repair place.

If you are inexperienced with fixing jtags, the easiest way is to let it overheat itself. It is really risky and not recommended but it does fix the problem temporarily. You are going to need a reflow soon.

Stick something in the fans in the back to make them stop and let the console run for 3 mins while it is overheating. After those 3 minutes are up, let the console cool for 45 mins to an hour and boot it back up. If it doesn't work, you will need a good reflow to get it going again.

If you need a reflow, here are some suggestions for people to send it to
nitz0 - Trusted and comes with warranty
Icy-Tank - Moderator and Trusted Seller
