i need help badly. ok i have my wii modded on 4.3u and im trying to get the WAD manger 1.7 installed but every time i try it it says error and then like ios 248 or something like that. also im trying to get the wii game to pay off my usb but where would i find the iso i need and how do i turn the torrents into iso??? sorry bit of a noob i know

About getting the torrents into iso. You don't simply. A torrent is a file which links you to the iso which someones else in the world has. Certain programs read these files then start to download the file from who ever is uploading it in the world. The more seeders(people who upload the file) the quicker it will come down. But the more leechers(people who are in the middle of downloading) slows the download down, as it has to spread the speed between people.

So overall you need to install a torrent program and then open the torrent file to download the iso. Iso's for the wii are quite big 4.7GB so it may take awile to download.

About wad manager, you didn't really give me much detail but I have a sense on what it could be. Just to make sure though could you tell me exactly what it says and when(example-when you start it or in the middle of it).
My THEORY(might not actually be) is that it is trying to use ios 248 as the vunerable ios. Although this can be done it requires downgrading ios's and if went wrong could cause issues.
But if it is trying to use ios 248 as the vunerable ios that means you don't have a vunerable ios 56. Most people use this as there vunerable(trucha signed) ios for wadmanager.

Sorry if im not making sense but if your new to softmodding, you can go easily wrong.
Yes it might be super easy to install the HBC but when it comes to WAD Manager and other apps which if used wrong could potentialy brick the system you have to watch yourself.

Overall if you say your a newb to this, then my guess is that you havn't installed a CIOS.
A cios is an ios(the wii uses these, for things to load) modified. It sands for custom IOS. These are developed by hackers/modifiers and then allow the system to run things/do things it shouldn't be able to.

If youre planning on installing wads and playing ISO(dont get confused with ios) then one of these must be installed. Cios 249 is probably the most common(google it). If youre a real newb i wouldn't attempt doing these as they could screw your wii if you do it wrong.
Get someone experienced and knows what there doing.

[3]Finally about your usb and the iso.
Before you can even start to do this you must do what i said above about installing an CIOS. By dong this this will allow the wii to play iso from a usb device/hard drive using a installed channel/wad or app in the HBC.

I have a softmod 4.2U. I am trying to get The Conduit 2, Tiger Woods 12, and Monster Hunter Tri working with NeoGamma... So far I had one lucky time where Woods 12 worked but I redid the same settings and everything, but the error came. The error I am getting for that is:
"Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12"
"This disc cannot be read"
"Please consult your Wii Operations Manual"
This error comes after 2 loading screens... which leads me to think one of my IOS is wrong...


With Conduit 2 I load it through NeoGamma, then it just says:
"Cannot read disc"
"Please consult wii... etc"
But this one is in a bigger font than the Woods12 error....

I would greatly appreciate helps... I have spent the last 2 days trying to figure this out.

if you cant tell im still a bit of a noob but i would assume that it could be a bad iso you got but idk thats just the only thing lol i know not much help sorry but the guy running this form is a wii modding god!!
