The GPU is blocking your SATA ports? You could probably get some L-shaped cables and squeeze them in.I did have a look at them but tbh i still don't think there's really enough room

So i just bought the R9 270 to put in my PC but the graphics cards go over the SATA (i think that's what they are) cable ports so do i need too get a new motherboard now? i have the AMD A8 6600K btw

If a GPU is what you need/want then yes that is good. The R9 280 may need two PCIe power connectors, though and the PSU only has one. So either get the 550w version or some molex-to-PCIe power adaptor ...
