I think it for CoD Elite. They gave everyone who signed in by last friday 8 hours of Double XP, to say thank you for supporting them through the years, since it shut down.

It should work until the last DLC comes out. Then you can't. As of now, as far as I am aware call of duty stated that you can in fact download the season pass to your next gen console.
