I logged on today, for the first time since a while. I went into a zombie lobby, the game didn't even start, and everyone in the lobby got kicked, and ...

You obviously haven't port forwarded correctly, otherwise it will launch the server.

Go back and check again to see if the port is forwarded on both TCP and UDP
