Approximately ten billion trillion planets are in the universe ;)
And a very small amount in the habitable zone however.
So far we have found a few thousand planets and about 70 POSSIBLY in the habitable zone.

I would bet my house that there are aliens out there.
They may not be little green men, but i guarantee there will be aliens that are a species like us.
I believe, after watching countless UFO programmes, that they are already here.

Ya I always thought that would be weird.
But now since we've learn so much about outer space, its impossible for anything to live in space.

Exactly. Every star in the sky could be a sun to another solar system.

i can agree with this because my dad works for NASA (National Aeronautical Space Administration) So far we can only say that the closest thing there is to extra terrestrial life forms would be on mars because so far it is the only other planet that has any type of resources that would allow life to live in its environment because it has been discovered that there is ice on Mars which is frozen water, water is the one essential thing for survival of almost any organism

By the way I said there were that many planets but by that I meant in star systems.
Planets orbit Pulsars and some don't have a star system and float freely.
