I like the post, There should be more mods. But if the admins were sick of the spam and need some other people to take care of it they would be hosting staff try out or approach the people. They are not so they must not feel that they need anymore mods/admins.
But there will be about a 100 dedicated members who are on the site for 6 hours + a day who would just love to become staff.

I agree,

Mainly because I have allot of problems with sending reports on troublesome posts
and allot of the time it isn't deleted/closed in enough time to stop the damage its causing.

There are plenty of times I've reported a post for sexually explicit material and had to go in the shoutbox and speak personally with the mods to close it,

And even that takes around 5-10 minutes.

Just for the fact there are over 400K of members there should be more Mods.

But as they always say, Mods will be chosen when they need them.
In my honest opinion, I think now may be the time.

there is alot of spam on ttg! but it isnt going to matter if u raise the characters of post to try to reduce spam because people will always find a way around it! people know who the more informate posters on ttg and who just try to get by. i do like ur rant u back up all ur inforamation
