Great guide but I am a little stump at Step 2 I did the part with the game put my SD card in load it up the file went threw the steps but my Wii outer trim were my game goes in start it to flash blue I power down the system just wondering is this part of the install process?

I'm having a little bit of trouble getting the HBC installer to boot up from my SSBB disc.

- I've downloaded the file
- extracted it to the root of my Sandisc 2gig SD card
- deleted all custom stages
- insert the card into the wii
- go back into the custom stage editor
- the HBC installer won't load and I'm just sitting at the stage editor.

Any idea why it's not working?

make sure that the card is formatted as FAT32.

also I find that some 2gb cards don't work as good. Some will load and others wont.

I never have issues using a smaller one.

Try smaller size (MB) card and FAT32 filesystem.

Very in-depth tutorial, but having to purchase a game in order to do it? That's silly, especially considering the Wii U comes out in like a month.

you dont need a game now tho, just use message bomber or something along those lines, its mentioned in the thread.

still a great tutorial for newbs, refered it to a freind.
