Pyramid wrotenice copy and pasting i can do that tooMinecraft Review
Gameplay
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] has very unique gameplay, I seriously think that nobody has ever created a game similar to Minecraft. It has extremely fun gameplay, with the choice to play on various difficulty levels such as:
Hard- Enemies will deal much more damage than Normal mode, Creepers wont stop attacking you unless there is a large distance between you and the monster.
Normal- Monsters will deal the normal amount of damage.
Easy- Enemies deal much less damage than Hard and Normal, Creepers will stop attacking you if you move a short distance away from them.
Peaceful- No monsters spawn, but there is an exception of Wolves and Slimes.
In the game, you can collect materials to help you build a shelter, which is vital for night time, because as it gets dark, the monsters attack. You can create various items and objects using the resources around you.For example, two sticks and three pieces of wood can create a wooden pick axe.

Worlds
Worlds, this is what makes the game so unique Once you purchase the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] version of the game, you can generate a world which is COMPLETELY RANDOM and matches no other world ever made in Minecraft. It gives you random resources and land structures But of course there is an option which allows you to type a code and itll generate a map depending on that. There is also a video where the creator of Minecraft, Notch shows a randomly generated Minecraft world being 8 times the size of our planet Earth.

Graphics
Your first thoughts on this game probably wouldve been these graphics stink! but trust me, the game-play makes up for EVERYTHING. There are options to use Fast or Fancy graphics. There are even options to add a custom texture pack which can completely re-do the graphics of the whole gamegiving it a nice touch and making it look much better than the Minecraft original texture pack.
World Design
In your very own randomly generated world, you are allowed to design it in anyway, you have no restrictions but ofcourse our laws of physicsCreate castles, mansions or just a plain old shack. Create dungeons, caves and anything you want. In Minecraft you are completely free!

Minecraft Conclusion
In conclusion, I would like to say that Minecraft is a great game, the game play is wonderful. Its a very unique game which you dont find nowadays, with all the WoW clonesId say that you try this game out and if you like it, purchase it. Alternatively you can play [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] but it doesnt include anything that you can get in the purchasable version of Minecraft.

Taste wrote My Review is 9.7
Everything needs an epic barbarian choir.
I will warn you that I cannot possibly cover every aspect of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in this review, and it has been one of the more challenging Ive ever had to write. Skyrim is such an enormous and engrossing experience that Im not sure any review can really do justice to something you simply need to play, but perhaps this will help: The reason it took me a long time to start writing is I simply did not want to stop playing the game. There is no shortage of conflict in the Nordic homeland of Skyrim, which is as violent and barbaric as the people who inhabit it. In addition to the rebirth of the legendary dragons, signifying the end of time, Skyrim has recently fallen into a bloody civil war between the ruling Empire and rebellious Stormcloaks. In the midst of this is you, Dohvakiin, the dragon-born, to save the world from the end of time. Amongst these conflicts, the nine holds of the Skyrim continue to operate largely independently, and each contains its own unique political and social landscape. Your character remains silent, though this isnt a bad thing. Skyrim errs on the traditionalist side of RPGs, and your character is meant to feel like an extension of yourself rather than a pre-existing personality whom you are controlling for the duration of the game. While the main story is good, thats why you visit Skyrim, but not why you stay. More important, the world of Skyrim feels much more like a living, breathing world than anything seen previously in the franchise. For many, the lack of a strong tie to the narrative was one of Oblivions largest shortcomings. Bethesdas new Radiant Story system tackles this issue head-on. The Radiant Story system ensures that the world reacts to how you play. NPCs respond differently depending on the quests you complete, and every action you take in the world feels solid and visceral. The already positive effect of this system is increased by the moral grays of many decisions in Skyrim. The game avoids many black and white decisions, and doesnt judge you with a morality bar for how you play. All of these elements combine to make Skyrims narrative and setting engaging on a level unseen in almost any RPG to date. Development has never been richer in Elder Scrolls. In a pretty bold move, Skyrim has removed all pretense of classes from the game, allowing you to grow and develop your character entirely independent of standard RPG roles. Following Bethesdas You are who you play moniker, youll level up via any skills you use in Skyrim. For example, if you use one-handed weapons, youll skill up in it, and gain experience. Every action you take in the game will level up a skill which will level up your character. This applies to all skills in the game, rather than just leveling from major skills like in Oblivion. The higher the level of the skill, the more experience youll gain toward raising your overall level, which will allow you to increase one of your three basic stats (Magicka, Health, and Stamina). The Skills are no longer increased through ranks, but through Skill Points earned as you level, which can be applied to any Perk in a Skill, assuming you meet the minimum Skill Level requirement.Skills themselves have been improved as well. Useless things no one ever spent points in are gone, and the silly categories of Acrobatics and Athletics have been removed entirely. The Mysticism skill has also been removed, its spells redistributed into the other schools. Melee skills have been switched from Blade, Blunt, and Hand-to-Hand to a more logical selection of One-Handed and Two-Handed, while Block has been overhauled to become an active defense and countering Skill. Crafting gets a boost in this game with Smithing making its debut, allowing the creation of powerful weapons and armor from ore mined and found throughout the world. Enchanting has been overhauled as well. You now learn enchantments by first disenchanting already magical weapons and armor. Also helpful is the new Skills menu, which is a much cleaner and less overwhelming scrolling display, allowing you to easily comprehend your available progression options. In practice the combat improvements are immediately apparent. Starting with melee, blocking is now an active action. A shield can be assigned to one hand while you assign a weapon to the other, and each hand is controlled with the trigger buttons. To absorb extra damage from attacks you have to actively block your opponents strikes, dropping your guard to counter blows with your own weapon. Shields can also be used to bash and charge-down opponents. This new active blocking system extends to two-handed weapons, although the damage mitigated is much lower than that of a shield. You can also dual-wield one-handed weapons, potentially doubling damage, but removing the ability to block entirely. Power attacks are still executed by holding down the attack button, and cost stamina. Moving the analog stick in different directions while holding the button will change the power attacks stroke and damage. The general feel of melee has been improved in a number of ways as well. In one of my favorite changes, third person view is now a viable and helpful option. The new third person camera and target reticule make a previously useless camera view very helpful for melee and getting a better view of your surroundings. In first person, the camera now dips and moves realistically with the attacks, adding a much stronger connection to the action happening on screen. This serves to resolve the plastic feel melee in previous entries in the series and adds immersion. But dont worry mages, you havent been ignored. Magic sees some of the biggest changes in this entry. Instead of binding spells to a face button, you now equip them to hands just as you do weapons and shields. The more than eighty-five spells in the game offer a huge variety of potential load-outs, and you can greatly strengthen a spell by equipping it in both hands and simultaneously casting. This variety is emphasized by the new secondary effects on Destruction spells. Fire causes a burn to do extra damage, Frost slows opponents and drains Stamina, and Lightning drains Magicka as it damages. Stealth is improved by the new executions, giving a brutal feel to the silent destruction of your foes. Sneaking also has various status levels, indicated by an eye reticule. When the eye is completely closed the guards have no idea of your presence, but as it gradually opens they become more aware and alert, and search for you. When the eye is completely open they know your exact position and can see you. Combined with the ability to add spells to your offhand with your dagger, sneaking is a more interesting proposition than ever. In addition, bows are now far more damaging, but take longer to fire, allowing for long-ranged stealth executions or long-range attacks for characters which are otherwise melee focused. A new type of magic is introduced to the game in the form of Shouts, which are equipped to your shoulder button and dont burn Magicka, but do include a cool-down. There are 24 shouts in the game which range from clearing the weather to breathing fire, and each shout has three different levels of power which you obtain by finding words of power in the world, generally in ruins or dragon shrines. Higher levels increase the effect, but also increase the cool-down, and you can adjust the force of your shout by changing when you release the button. Youll need to take down dragons and gather their souls to unlock the Shouts, even after youve found the Words of Power. And holy crap dragon fights are satisfying. There are three main reasons youll want to take the time to take them down: they provide souls which you need to unlock shouts, they provide scales and bones which you need to make the best armor in the game, and its really awesome to kill dragons! These dragons behave almost scarily realistically, flying most of the time to avoid your melee blows, and landing on buildings and other structures often to stay out of reach. You will feel the force of their wings as they swoop past, and the ground shake as they land. Dragons will even bite down on NPCs and animals, ripping them from the ground and tossing them to kill them instantly. Dragons come in multiple types, starting with the weak brown ones and gradually increasing in difficulty to the very strong black-colored beasts. The types you encounter will depend on your level, and as soon as youre able to trounce one sort of dragon youll start finding another challenging type. They can be found in the main quest, roaming the world, or even attacking towns without warning. Among the more general improvements to combat is a removal of Oblivions awful level scaling in favor of a much tamer version, similar to that found in Fallout 3. Enemies have a level range based on type and location, and you wont find bandits running around in Daedric armor late-game. Your progression is noticeable and marked by how you fare against certain opponents, as it should be. Armor and weapon rewards fare a bit better in this entry as well. Elder Scrolls has always been more about exploration than loot, but the dragon armor is a nice incentive to level smithing, and even mages have some pretty awesome gear to find if you run through their guild quests. There are also a handful of special unique weapon and armor pieces available as quest rewards. The dungeons youll explore are incredibly varied, especially compared to Oblivion, and even the assets that are repeated will never result in direct clones. After dozens of hours you might feel a bit of dj vu in a few of them, though. Outside of combat youll have plenty to keep you occupied. Ore veins can provide material for smithing, plants harvested for alchemy, and a massive variety of quests and side-quests attempted, ranging from crawling through one of Skyrim's dozens of dungeons to investigating a murder, squeezing debtors for their loans, or joining one of the four guilds in the game. Sneakier players can pick pockets and rob houses, while more upstanding citizens can go do some hunting for more crafting materials and sellable items. Shrines can be located to boost certain stats, and new Shout powers can be hunted down in various dragon shrines and dungeon ruins. You can even get married and buy houses in Holds in which you have a good reputation. Exploring the world is almost a game in itself. Skyrim features an impressive variety of interesting biomes including lush evergreen forests, swamps, plains, hot springs, frozen wastes, and icy oceans. The insanely massive open world is full of secrets and treasures waiting to be discovered. Worried its too big for its content? Dont be. Skyrim is densely packed with a variety of interesting locations, towns, camps, dungeons, and caves. Lore nuts will find a lot of information about the ancient and mysterious Dwarves among the scattered ruins throughout Skyrim. Ancient temples of the Nords built to worship the dragons during their age of power also await your discovery. Of course theres always the chance of finding a dragon as well. All of this is much easier to find thanks to an improved 3D map and a much better integrated quest menu. This improvement extends to the general presentation of the menus in Skyrim. All items, spells, and potions are well-organized in easily navigable menus. Its hard to believe Oblivion and Skyrim are on the same consoles. The visual difference is enormous, and Skyrims beauty is astonishing. The Creation Engine created for the game provides lush visuals and a believable world, helped along by stunning art design. The amount displayed on-screen combined with the general quality is staggering. The gorgeous visuals dont hold up quite as well when you get up close, however, and textures can be pretty simple in certain areas. Shadows also look somewhat pixelated, although the dynamic shadows and their ability to react and expand with the games plethora of dynamic light sources is impressive. The only other place the engine fails to astound is in facial animation, which fails to convey a lot of emotion. Regardless of nitpicking, the visual presentation is superb. But even the visuals are surpassed by the audio. Skyrims soundtrack is utterly magnificent. The music blends in perfectly with the visuals, and wandering the world is luxurious synesthesia, as grand melodies meld with sweeping landscapes. In combat the music ratchets up the intensity, driving the adrenaline rush. This is especially true when the main theme comes blaring through during an epic dragon fight. I dare you to not hear that music blaring in your head the next time you exercise. The voice acting is equally sublime, with appropriate accents helping emphasize the intriguing personalities that populate the world. Are you tired of preorder bonuses and DLC scams that take away parts of a game and make it feel incomplete without them? If so, youll likely find Skyrims transparent and straightforward release as refreshing as I do. Not only is it a complete experience, its an enormous experience. My first play-through took me 65 hours, and I didnt come close to sampling all the content in the sidequests, or even maxing my level (I was at level 30 of 50). I immediately started over with a new character, whom I have put another 20+ hours into while following a different section of sidequests and Ive barely experienced any overlapping content. I can only estimate how much genuinely original content in this game, but suffice it to say, Skyrim is the gold standard for video game value. If there is even the slightest knock to the length, its that when you start to get near that 100 hours point you will notice some repeated assets in the dungeons, but not enough to keep them from feeling like unique treks. There are no direct clones in this game. Skyrim is a transcendent experience. It may not be perfect, but it excels in almost every aspect of design. There are games that you play and there are games that you experience, and this is the latter. It sucks you in, and you will get lost in its depths. So go buy Skyrim, and then call your friends and your boss, and warn them that they wont hear from you for a while.
I will warn you that I cannot possibly cover every aspect of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in this review, and it has been one of the more challenging Ive ever had to write. xFreeBoot_Jr wrote Ive had two major passions in my life since I was a kid: video games and professional wrestling. Since Macho Man Randy Savage took on Hulk Hogan for the WWF title at WrestleMania V, Ive been a diehard fan. So video games based on pro wrestling has always been a double whammy for me, targeting both my passions. After years of SmackDown vs. Raw, Yukes has completely taken the game back to the drawing board and made it into WWE 12. Does this new title live up to the hype, or is it more of the same in a pretty new box?
Lets begin with the most important element in any game: the game play. They redesigned the controls, and Ill say that theyve made the best set of controls yet. The square button allows you to hit striking moves, the X button is for grappling, triangle lets you hit signatures and finishers, and circle pins your opponents. Holding R1 while your opponent is dazed allows you to target body parts, a feature thats especially welcome for submission wrestlers. The controls work really well. Once I got used to the new arrangement, I was excellently executing wrestlers with the best of them. The real challenge will be getting used to reversing moves, an action done by hitting R2 at the right moment. This can be difficult, but once you master it, youll feel like a main eventer in no time.
A minor nitpick about the new controls is I wish theyd made a tutorial level to get used to them. They did this in the previous game, and it really helped me get used to the controls. Also, finding out the controls and the conditions for winning specialty matches can be exasperating. For instance, a table match I had with Jack Swagger took forever because they dont explain whats necessary to prop your opponent on a table. Occasions like this are thankfully sparse, and didnt pose too much of an issue. The main issue I had with this game was getting used to all the changes they made. For example, kicking out of a pinfall is not a matter of button mashing. Instead you hold down the X button and release a growing bar inside the correct section of the grey bar. Submission wrestling has become a button mashing event called Breaking Point, with it being easier to make opponents submit if the body part is weak. Like I said, I like the system and think its the best one theyve ever created. It just takes some getting used to.
Graphically, the game for the most part is fine, though it isnt perfect. Members of the audience look terrible up close, though I appreciate that they all look different. The wrestlers themselves range from amazingly accurate to okay. A running joke in these games is that you can tell whos a main eventer in WWE thanks to the level of detail in the characters. For example, cover boy Randy Orton looks so true to life its incredible. He looks and acts so much like the real deal that youd almost swear you were watching WWE live. Wrestlers on the lower card however dont look as accurate, such as John Morrison with hair that looks like its made from Play-Doh. Its a shame, but ultimately excusable.
This year Yukes redid all of the animations from top to bottom. Gone are the days when youd warp to the middle of the ring to execute certain moves that you triggered. Now you can pull of a move from any position, and even change the direction of most of them. Even better, the move can be interrupted. Is Rey Mysterio about to hit your tag partner with a 619? You can jump him as comes off the rope. You can interrupt any move or finisher, which makes the game even more like the real thing.
Yukes made some other tweaks to the game as well, such as the ropes shaking when you bounce off them, cameras angles switching just like on TV, and even special taunts that make your opponent slowly stand up in time for your characters finisher. On top of this, all of the arena set-ups from pay-per-views of the past year have been recreated to great detail and are a blast to wrestle in. The environments overall are all created to perfection and are a blast to wrestle in.
If theres anything you really have to tip your hat to WWE 12 for, its the incredible amount of content in this game. Not only is every wrestler on the main roster in the game, they also many legends from the past such as Arn Anderson, Shawn Michaels, the Legion of Doom, Kevin Nash, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Edge, and many more. Plus, more wrestlers will be included in the future as DLC, like Brodus Clay, Trish Stratus, Kharma, Macho Man Randy Savage, and Mick Foley.
If theres anything that isnt in the game, chances are you can make it. Quite rarely have I seen a game provide so many options for customization. You still have the classic Create-a-Wrestler (with more options to chose from than ever), which allows you to create a grappler from the ground up. You can give this wrestler (or any wrestler at all) a new finisher thanks to Create-a-Finisher. Dont like any of the entrances? Dont worry because you can create you own entrance as well. Didnt like the Road to WrestleMania plots, and thought you could do better? You can make you own story with any wrestler you want with the Create-A-Story. On top of all this, they created another new feature for you to use called Create-a-Arena. This one allows you to create any ring area you want. Want one dedicated to DX? nWo? Monday Night Nitro? You can do this and more with the new Arena creator.
Ever wanted to be head booker? You can with the WWE Universe mode. With this you can plan out storylines and matches in the WWE for as far ahead as youd like. Want to finally make Zack Ryder into the face of the WWE? Want the brand split to mean something again? Then WWE Universe mode is up your alley.
The music in the game is great, with the wrestlers theme music put on perfectly. However, the voice acting is really a mixed bag in this game. Some of the wrestlers like Triple H, Miz, and Regal put actual emotion into their lines, and delivered them really well. Others like Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Drew McIntrye, and Edge phone their performances in. It can detract from the story, but thankfully doesnt come up too often.
If there was one major thing I was disappointed with, it was the Road to WrestleMania mode. Granted they have some good ideas for it this year, including it focusing on three wrestlers and flows smoothly from on to another. You start with Sheamus as a heel as he starts a stable that takes over the WWE, then move on to Triple H as he plays a maverick in a lawless version of SmackDown, and finally get to the Hero story, for which you can select a created wrestler. I do like how this new Story Mode doesnt focus on WrestleMania, but rather building a story around each character. Its honestly something they should repeat for future games.
However, they make this story more frustrating than it has any right to be by using the most annoying cut scene clich in video games today. Stop me if youve heard this one: Youre trying to get past this difficult area in the game, or trying to protect a character in an escort mission. You die and die trying to pull it off until finally you complete the level. Then in the following cut scene, the enemies kill you or the character you were protecting. Youre upset, and left asking If I was going to die anyway, why did you waste 45 minutes of my life? You will encounter this many times in the game. Youll play your best to defeat a tough challenge, and your satisfaction is killed when you find out your character lost regardless. This frustrated me a lot, and killed a lot of enjoyment for the game.
They also load this game up with too much story, a complaint I thought Id never make. Quite rarely do you finish a match normally in The Road to WrestleMania. Usually you have to wear down an opponent to a point that a prompt for the Triangle button will show, and the cutscene takes care of the rest. Then, in order to match up with the story that has been written, it tacks on objectives to your matches, causing some frustrating restrictions as well. In one case I was playing as Triple H in a tag match, and it wants me to beat The Miz specifically in order to win. And since the story wants Triple H to make the pin, the game disables the ability for me to tag in my partner without telling me. It just interrupts the flow of the match and made me miserable. Honestly, if it werent for how many items are unlocked during story mode, I would have skipped it.
WWE 12 does do a lot of things right, despite my complaints. You can have fun with the customization alone. Plus, the joy of playing your favorite WWE Superstars and setting up your own dream matches is still here. The new controls are fantastic and add more depth to the characters move set. The amount of content is overwhelming, and all WWE games should have content on par with WWE 12 from here on out. The foundation for a pretty successful franchise has been set. However, they make a lot of bad decisions that make the games story mode more of a chore than a game, and took away from a really awesome first entry. If Yukes could back off on the story a little, and just let the player have a wrestling match, they could have had the whole package here. Still, what we have isnt bad, and any wrestling fan will love WWE 12.
Final Score: 8.5/10

The Mortal Kombat franchise had a brutal opening when it released back in the 90s, and after a good 8 games it was time for a reboot for the franchise. Mortal Kombat 9 is the first to receive this treatmentand just as the original was thenthe modern version is equally as good if not better.
The gameplay itself has gone back to a simpler formula (similarly as Street Fighter IV) with a 2D style, and no longer emphasises the 3D effects which the later installments had.
You can choose from 26 fighters including unlockables that are obtained through story mode. Each fighters have their own unique moves, special moves and fatalities. The special moves consist of teleporting or projectiles and can be used in most instances.
When receiving damage, a meter at the bottom of the screen will fill. This meter is broken into three sections; the first section allows you to perform special move abilities, these are usually an enhanced version of a normal move and deliver more injury. A two bar meter allows you to perform Breakers, and finally, a full three bar X-Ray Meter gives you access to the X-Ray Attacks.
X-Ray attacks give the most damage but can be blocked so you need to know when its the best time to pull one off. Once the meter is filled, simply pull both triggers and watch your fighter perform devastating moves to the opponent while the game zooms in on the inflicted body part using X-ray vision to show the bones being broke.
The controls are perfect! You have two types of punches and two types of kicks. You can grapple with the right bumper and block while holding down the right trigger. Now, the main thing Mortal Kombat is known for is fatalities. They make a return and this time they are the most gruesome to this date. Each fighter has multiple fatalities and they have different inputs, requirements to achieve.
Each fighter is highly detailed, and with it being a fighting game, everyone wants blood. NetherRealm delivered on this with a fantastic damage system. Not only do people bleed, but they will become grazed and bruised over time in the duration of the fight.
Clothes tear, masks break off, flesh gets torn from bones and blood splatters all over the place. During the character select screen you have the option to choose from 2 costumes with each having 2 colours.
The stages are also very detailed. Theres a good environment variety, and theyve also included classic levels such as The Pit and The Living Forest and certain levels allow for stage fatalities.
There are plenty of modes to play through, Story, Arcade, Challenge Tower and Online. The story takes you through the original events that unfolded in Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3. Since this is a reboot certain sequences have been changed but its been told for people who are new to the series and its plot.
You will take on the roll of many fighters throughout the chapters. The story will take you roughly 8 hours (or a little less) depending on the difficulty, and how well you play. Each fight is split up with cut-scenes and they are all performed well with great voice over work.
The Arcade mode allows you to fight through a dozen of fighters and square up against Shao Khan, this can be done solo or with a tag team. The final bosses can become cheap so be prepared for a throw a few curse words at the TV.
Challenge Tower puts 300 tasks in front of you, these consist of beating other fighters, performing special moves and other pieces such as fending of Zombies. Higher the levels the harder they become but with the 100% a special reward.
Each fight also rewards the player with Koins. These can be used to unlock costumes, artwork and background music through The Krypt. Another unlockable is Kombat Codes, these mix a variety up in fights such as fighting with no arms, no jumping or infinite X-Rays.
Online allows for you to play with friends or others. The game features a mode called King of the Hill, where up to 8 players can spectate and play the winner of the previous match.
Here you can rate the fighters performance from a scale of 1-10 and talk with others who are also spectating. Upon launch the game did suffer from online issues with lag and not finding other players to compete against.
Mortal Kombat 9 is a terrific reboot to the series and I cant help but hope for future support plus sequels. Ive had much fun with it so far, and wont be putting it down anytime soon
Love the Gamplay campigan and all of the lovely maps that the game is.

I'm noticing an increasing trend of reviews being submitted that have very long synopsis' yet include very little under the other areas. While I have still be using a lot of these to build up more content in this forum I am going to start becoming more selective in picking which reviews to publish - particularly for newer/more popular games.
While differences in the size of areas within a review is expected, that difference shouldn't be massive - just a heads up.

Just Cause 2 Review!
Just Cause 2 is a free roam based game. It's very fun with sooooo many things to do. The campaign isn't long but the way to get the be able to do the mission's takes a while. You need to cause chaos in order to be able to do missions. You can drive, fly, walk, run, boat, swim, parachute, and para glide. There is no limit to get around the map that is 40 kilometers corner to diagonal corner. I bought this game when it was $30 and never regretted it. I would have bought it for $60 if I knew about it then. It's probably for sale for about $20 now. There is a Just Cause 3 coming out sometime next year so if you kind of want a trial for a $60 game you can try this. There is only 7 missions in the campaign but it takes a while to get the missions unlocked. I highly recommend this game to other people./align]

The greatest chapter of the Elder Scrolls series!
it starts fresh 200 years after the conclusion of Oblivion. if you havent played any of the elder scrolls you will utterly love this, or you have played them before, one thing is certain; you are in for a treat of epic proportions!!!
All the best of the others have beenputtogether in Skyrim.
