Rating (ESRB): M (MATURE) , AO (ADULT ONLY) for re-releases.
Synopsis
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas takes place within the state of San Andreas, which is based on sections of California and Nevada. It comprises three major fictional cities: Los Santos corresponds to Los Angeles, San Fierro corresponds to San Francisco, and Las Venturas corresponds to Las Vegas. The environments around these cities are also based on settings within the Southwestern region of the United States. Players can climb the half-mile (800 m) tall Mount Chiliad (based on Mount Diablo), parachute from various peaks and skyscrapers, and visit 12 rural towns and villages located in three counties: Red County, Flint County, and Bone County. Other notable destinations include Sherman Dam (based on the Hoover Dam), a large secret military base called Area 69 (based on Area 51), a large satellite dish (based on a dish from the Very Large Array), and many other geographical features. San Andreas is 13.9 square miles (22.3 square kilometers),almost four times as large as Vice City, and five times as large as the GTA III rendition of Liberty City. The three cities are linked by numerous highways, a train system, and air travel. While its predecessors' areas were limited to urban locations, San Andreas includes not only large cities and suburbs, but also the rural areas between them. It also has a fictional version of the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base called ingame the Verdant Meadows Airfield.
Gameplay
Since 2005 I've been playing this game on consoles from Playstation, Xbox, Xbox 360 and a little on Windows. On all platforms, I can surely say this game is great time. On Windows, you can even edit the gameplay more with mods, and the most controversial one, "Hot Coffee Mod", which made it's name on The Today Show for allowing the player to have a full nude woman model in game. On Playstation 2 and Xbox, the game runs great on the 480p setting and will run perfectly. On Xbox 360, I have experienced some minor lag, but nothing that makes it so you cannot play the game perfectly.
Gameplay Rating:
9
Graphics
On Playstation 2 and Xbox, the graphics I can say were great. (As good as it gets on low detail consoles) There was no FPS lag and ran smooth. Some minor errors with rendering but nothing wild. On Xbox 360, the graphics were trash compared to any other game on the console. The graphics in this game were fairly detailed but choppy, some graphics were not fully clear but blended in with the game's nature. On Windows, mods could be installed to edit the resolution of the game and replace some graphics, but the graphics un-altered are manageable. Compared to GTA IV, again, they are no where as good but run great on almost any laptop/computer.
Graphics Rating
Playstation 2: 9.5
Xbox: 9.5
Xbox 360: 5
Windows: 4
Multiplayer
In game multiplayer is not what you would hope. Being only 1-2 players compatible, you are only able to control 1 other player along with CJ, which is usually his girlfriend. You cannot complete missions, but minigames are supported such as rampages and free-roam is as well. For Windows, mods can be applied to allow servers for much more people and for much more activities. On Xbox 360, since it is an original Xbox game, you cannot be signed into Xbox LIVE, which is a con.
Multiplayer Rating:
Playstation 2: 2
Xbox: 2
Xbox 360: 1
Windows: 6
Reception
My overall rating of this game would be amazing. I continue to play the game to this day and recommend playing every second of it. By this I don't mean cheats! - Playing this without and cheats was actually very fun. You unlock most of the stuff you can cheat for in game, too. I rate the story in this game an excellent 10/10. The only bad part today is the graphics effecting on how well I see the game compared to all of the HD games I've played. This story is worth $30, sold for $20.
In 2004, San Andreas was labeled as one of the most anticipated games of the year, along with the popular Halo 2. That year, critics from IGN, GameSpot, 1UP and more all rated San Andreas with an amazing score, making it the highest rated game in Playstation history. (9.9/10)

W12 (WWE 2012) PS3 Game Review
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Platforms:
-Xbox 360
-PS3
-Wii
Graphics/Whats new!
The new technology used in W12 is amazing its called something like 'Predator Tech' it makes it more realistic as ever the graphics are truly amazing on the PS3, I have tried it on the PS3 only. It is just amazing technology they have newly introduced.
Controls
The controls are pretty hard, the basic moves such as punch or kick are simple as hitting triangle, but the multi moves such as picking the opposer threat up is very hard as its like 3 different buttons! and there are over 50 new moves you can do. I have never played WWE before so its was very hard for me to learn the tutorials for the controls.
Gameplay
After a while I soon quit the game, after paying full uk rrp for a game I am now looking for a buyer, I was truly shocking at the game. The game its self such as the moves were very laggy sometimes my foot would over lap the other guys foots and it would look glitchy as hell, the blood was very well presented as it came from the right areas at the right time!
Overall
-Very bad lag when doing moves
-Amazing graphics
-Hard controls
Rating
7/10

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Synopsis (Credit to suckerpunch.com):
"Sly and his partners Bentley and Murray are on a mission to recover stolen pages of the Thievius Raccoonus, a handbook of thieveryed down through the generations of the Cooper family, and stolen when Sly was only a child by a gang known as the Fiendish Five.
The game presents an exciting sequence of 3rd-person "platform" game challenges. It's all about being a thief, so expect to tightrope-walk your way above a room full of guards, break open safes full of loot, dodge searchlights and laser sensors, and climb pipes in search of a covert entry, all the while dodging the determined pursuit of the lovely police inspector Carmelita Fox. And if a bad guy happens to get in your way, well, a good solid whack with Sly's cane will usually solve the problem.
Sly and his friends live in a beautiful, richly detailed and animated world. We call it "toon shading", and the result is a game that feels more like your favorite animated movie than a run-of-the-mill video game. With Bentley (a glasses-wearing turtle) providing the brainy insight, and Murray (a brawny pink hippo) behind the wheel of the team's van, Sly is sure to get revenge against his arch-nemesis Clockwerk and the rest of the Fiendish Five. It's an experience you won't want to miss."
Release Date: 2002
Developers: Sucker Punch Productions
Publishers: Sony Computer Entertainment
Platforms: Playstation 2
Genre: 3rd Person - Platformer
Players: 1 Single Player Offline
Gameplay: This is a very "cartoonish" game, but it's a lot of fun. This game has a good storyline, and the minute you play the game you want to play it some more. The game has good mechanics for it's era/time, and the feel to the game is really nice.
Graphics: The graphics aren't nearly as good as what we know today with PS3's and Xbox's, but for a PS2 game I personally thought this game definitely didn't make your eyes want to "Throw-Up". Good graphics for it's time and console generation.
Storyline: The storyline never gets old, with the classic "Mission-solving" feel to it. The rewards for completing missions definitely make you want to keep playing it, even after you have beaten it.
Rating: 8.5. Very good graphics and gameplay for it's time, and has a high "replay-value" so even once you beat the game it's something you'll want to play in your spare time.

Game Information:
Release Date: February 5, 2001 (NA)
Developer: Intelligent Systems
Publisher: Nintendo
Genre: Role-Playing
Players: 1 Player
Ratings: E for Everyone
Synopsis
Paper Mario, known in Japan as Mario Story ( Mario Sutr?), (originally known as Super Mario RPG 2) is a role-playing video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 game console. It was first released in Japan on August 11, 2000, in North America on February 5, 2001, and in Europe and Australia on October 5, 2001. Paper Mario was re-released for Nintendo's Virtual Console in 2007.
Paper Mario is set in the Mushroom Kingdom as the protagonist Mario tries to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. To do so, he must locate seven "Star Spirits" to negate the effects of the captured Star Rod, which grants invincibility to Bowser. The player controls Mario and a number of partners to solve puzzles in the game's overworld and defeat enemies in a turn-based battle system. The battles are unique in that the player can influence the effectiveness of attacks by performing required controller inputs known as "action commands".
Paper Mario is the first installment for the Paper Mario series and is the predecessor to the GameCube game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the Wii game Super Paper Mario, and the upcoming 3DS game Paper Mario. The game received a positive reaction from the media, attaining an aggregate score of 88% from Game Rankings and 93% from Metacritic.[1][2] It was rated the 63rd best game made on a Nintendo system in Nintendo Power's "Top 200 Games" list in 2006.[3]
Gameplay
The gameplay is filled with fun adventures and tasks. The whole point of the game is to rescue Princess Peach as it is in most of the Mario game series. You start off in small towns battling easier bosses, and then you work your way up to big castles and more challenging opponents.
Mario teams up with various allies, they all have a special ability that helps Mario out in certain situations.
For example - Goombario- the Goomba, who has the ability to tell the player about any character, any environment, and any enemy.
As you can see Goombario is an ally who's ability helps Mario figure out what type of attack would be the most effective on a certain enemy.
This game takes quite some time to complete, so if you are thinking about playing it set time aside to finish the story line.
Graphics
For it's time the graphics are pretty great. This is a Nintendo64 game, so we can't expect much from it really. They are made to resemble paper and they do a good job at doing so.
Controls
I unfortunately cannot find the controller layout for this game.
I have searched high and low, but no luck whatsoever.
I will give a brief idea of the controls
A- Jump
B- Attack
Left Analog- Move straight and backwards
Right Analog- Move left and right
The controls are extremely easy to figure out, so no worries.
Final Verdict
The game is overall a great experience, you will spend hours on end playing this.
If you have played the newer versions and enjoyed them I would suggest getting the N64 out from under your bed or off ebay because this game is worth it.
Rating (Opinion)
9/10
Excellent game.
Obviously off of wikipedia because it has those "[1]" things.

Synopsis:
Rock Band 3 allows for one to seven players, either locally or through online game services, to use various instrument controllers to simulate the playing of music. In addition to the four instruments from previous Rock Band gameslead guitar, bass guitar, drums, and vocalsRock Band 3 adds support for two additional singers who can provide backup vocal harmonies (previously found in The Beatles: Rock Band and Green Day: Rock Band) and it adds an electric keyboard as a new instrument.
Prior to a song, each band member selects from one of four difficulty levels, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert, which influence the number and rate that notes appear on the note track; they also can select the Pro mode for guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums. As the band performs, they score points. Each player can build up a multiplier by hitting consecutive notes correctly, which increases how many points each note is worth, but the multiplier is set back to 1 if a note is missed. After successfully completing a song, the performance of each player and the band as a whole is rated on a 5-star scale. The best performance by a player for each song in the player's library is tracked separately based on instrument, Pro mode, and difficulty, and is used to provide and compare leaderboard statistics.
The overall goal of the band is to successfully complete a song and earn as many points as possible by using their controllers to play the notes shown on the screen at the proper time; or, in the case of the vocalists, to sing in relative pitch to the original artist. Players can also gain additional points by using "Overdrive". Once a player has enough energy, which is collected by perfectly playing marked sections of the song, he or she can activate Overdrive to double the number of points the whole band earns while it is deployed. Each instrument deploys overdrive differently, and some instruments have multiple methods of activating it.
Unless the "no-fail" option is on, players who are doing poorly might drop out of the band, silencing their part. A dropped player can be saved up to two times by another player activating Overdrive; if the player is not saved soon enough, the whole band may fail the song and need to restart or exit to the song library. In some game modes, an option is also available to continue the song right from where the band failed at the cost of not being able to record a score for the rest of the song's playthrough.
Although Rock Band 3's gameplay in Basic mode is very similar to that of previous games in the series, it does introduce a new gameplay mechanic designed to make fast sections such as trills, tremolo picking, and drum rolls easier to play. In such sections, players are rewarded for being exactly on cue, but they are not penalized for small differences.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is very fun. I am not into this type of music. This is a game to play with the family. Sing along with the lyrics, play the drums and the guitar. Go on a lyric streak, or any other streak and you get bonus points. I play this game sometimes with friends, very fun game to play!

About The Game.
In a city where information is heavily monitored, where crime is just a memory, where most people sacrifice freedom for a comfortable life, some choose to live differently.
They communicate using messengers called Runners.
You are a runner called Faith.
Murder has come to this perfect city and now you are being hunted.

Murder has come to this perfect city and now you are being hunted.
` Blurb from the Xbox 350 Disc `
What the game is based on ?
You are a girl called Faith who has been trained in Martial Arts and Karate for over 10 years and has been set out to do various missions by her Agents. She does many things such as Roof jumping, Wall running, Sky diving and so much more. Mirror's Edge takes place in an unnamed link building coastal city where a totalitarian regime monitors its citizens through invasive surveillance using techniques including video cameras and tracking all forms of electronic communication in order to reduce crime and quell any challenge to its power.
She is very popular in the famous streets of New York and is being hunted by The Police and is trying to stay as secret as possible. Using her Ninja and undercover skills, she fights through the Barricades of the Streets and holding off as many police offers, but i would recommend this game for anyone wishing to purchase it.
The Storyline of the Game.
Faith receives a call for help from her sister Kate, a police officer, at the offices of Pope, and finds that Pope has been murdered, clutching a piece of paper with the name "Icarus" on it. Kate tells Faith to find out more and to report anything to her superior, Lt. Miller. Faith finds a former Runner named Jacknife who identifies that Pope's head of security, a former wrestler named Ropeburn, may have more information, but does not divulge any more. Faith reports this to Lt. Miller, who arranges a meeting with Ropeburn; Faith attempts to listen in, but Ropeburn discovers her and attempts to kill her. Faith gains the upper hand, and hangs him over a rooftop, attempting to gain information, but before she can, Ropeburn is killed by an unknown assassin.
Faith gives chase to the assassin, discovering the assassin works for a private security firm that the city relies on heavily for its armed forces, and that the firm is training its own form of Runners in order to capture or kill the other Runners in the city. She regains the assassin's trail to a tanker vending machines and is able to corner the assassin, finding that it is Celeste. Celeste states that she has changed sides due to "Project Icarus" to avoid being constantly hunted by security forces and to be able to live her life. Fearing that she will be arrested if she is caught with Faith, Celeste escapes from Faith and disappears. Mirror's Edge is set in a gleaming, clean city.
Mercury tells Faith that Kate has been charged with Pope's murder, and arranges a spot where Faith can ambush the convoy that is taking her to prison. Faith is able to successfully free Kate, telling her to flee to the lair where Mercury is waiting while she lures the police away. After avoiding her chasers, Faith returns to the lair to find it has been attacked, Kate having gone missing and Mercury near death. Mercury is able to tell Faith that Kate has been taken to the Shard, a skyscraper that is home to Mayor Callaghan as well as the city's centralised surveillance databases. With the help of Lt. Miller, who feels Faith is the city's best hope for change, Faith is able to make her way to the server rooms and destroy the servers, unlocking access to the roof.
However, during this, Miller is suddenly cut off, and a shot is heard. She saw someone fell into a box. There, she finds that Kate is being held at gunpoint by Jacknife. Jacknife explains that Project Icarus is a plan created by Callaghan to eliminate all the Runners in the city and to stop the uncontrolled flow of information, and that he, Paid Proxy as with Celeste, took part in it only to stay alive. Jacknife attempts to escape with Kate in a waiting helicopter, but Faith follows and grabs onto it; she is able to jump into the helicopter and send Jacknife plummeting to his death. As he SEO Hosting falls, stray bullets from his gun hit the helicopter and cause it to spin out of control. Faith helps Kate to safely jump to the nearby roof as the helicopter crashes below. Link Building Services
During the game's end credits, an announcement states that both Faith and Kate are now wanted criminals but have gone missing, while urging the citizens of the city to avoid electronic communications until the city can repair the faults with the Shard's servers.

Singleplayer.
The singleplayer mode in Mirror's Edge is a mixed-bag really. There are some memorable levels and moments but for the most part, it is pretty weak. The weakest part of this game is its story, or its lack of one. The protagonist is Faith and I must say she's pretty cool. However, the problem which arises is simply I didn't really learn anything about her and this in turn made her feel slighty bland and uninteresting as a character. There isn't really any surprises throughout the course of the game's plot and the supporting cast and villians are also not explored. The idea of a totalitarian metropolis where information is strictly guarded is a very good one. Unfortunatly, weak characters and lack of cohension in the plot ruin it. Cut-scenes are a change of pace from the first-person action. They are cel-shaded in style and while they look very nice, I feel that they are seriously out of place with the rest of the game. Again, this only makes the plot feel even more disjointed.
Multiplayer.
Any kind of multiplayer is sadly absent from Mirror's Edge, which I find quite bemusing. Surely being able to race against your friends or other people online would've been a fantastic addition to the game? Well, I guess the developers didn't think so and the only online feature implemented was the ability to follow other players' ghosts while playing through Speedruns and Time Trials. There is also a leaderboard in place which showcases the quickest runners and times on every track. But in all fairness, this was a massive opportunity missed by DICE and if there is a sequel in the future, I expect them to rectify the lack of online multiplayer modes.
My Overall Game Review.
I manged to pick up the Game back in 2009 Xmas with spare money and bought it because of the Blurb and how it attracted to me. I instantly, as everyone may do, go on the Game as soon as i got home. I did Updates and all that like that and got to the Game. Very quick onto the game, straight to the Menu and just went through the Tutorial of what the game was all about and the controls to use.
The Tutorial is very detailed. It goes through how to do everything you would need to do on the game and is very clear to understand. On to the main Game play, as you do on a Game, i never really knew what it was about. The start of the game is very hard to get used to and does not really show you a guide to where you need to go.
As i got into the game, i started to get my bearings on where i needed to go and how to hold off enemies. I must admit, i have now completed it and the Missions were extremely fun and challenging. It sort of acted like a Book, where you cant leave it alone, i just had to finish it. It was so intriguing and did not want to give up.
Overall, the game is great and would highly recommend for you to buy it. When the Campaign was done, the Multiplayer was great. The online experience is amazing and is just like the Campaign, but just with Friends and other players. Th good thing was it`s not a Popular game so whenever you get in a Game, they will be crap and you can get ranked up easily, and made the game extremely fun.

The Story!
The story in dead island is not all that great. You start out in a hotel that has been vacated due to the zombie attack. The hotel is full of dark and scary secrets, including an many Easter Eggs, I will not reveal these though, as they are fun to find on your own. After this hotel crisis, you are lead by a life guard to a little beach hut on the shore near the hotel. From there on it is your objective to save the survivors, and get off the island alive. Aside from that, there are many side quests to take role in, and many bad-ass and weapons to make your play-though of the game all that more exciting.

Gameplay and Mechanics!
Dead Island has many features unique to the game, it steals a lot of gameplay mechanics from Fallout 3, along with Borderlands. It is a first person RPG type game, but with many action elements. You can do everything from beating a zombie with an electric paddle, to blasting an infected's head of with poison rounds using the AK-47. Alright the game does not have a very good story line, the overall elements are what makes it one of the best zombie game on the market to this day.

The Graphics
The graphics in Dead Island are your average console graphics. It takes a little bit longer to render in the textures on the console versions, but all in all it is about the same. The water effects though, I found to be stunning. They have also but a lot of work into putting every little detail on the Island possible. Not only does this make the game way more fun to play, but it adds a feeling of accomplishment when you finally find that unique weapon hidden in the gas-station bathroom. The lighting is really what makes the graphics stand out to me though. Right when you first step foot out of the hotel, you see the sun glistening in the water, and it really made my jaw drop

Synopsis is allowed to be copy and paste 100 percent fine
My bad. Thought it was all over.
Sorry for accusing.
