Does it have to be a New game, or can we review a retro game or something older?

Dolphin Olympics
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Specs
Players: 1
Platform: PC
Multipler: None
Publisher: Alan Rawkins
Synopsis (Wrote own)
You find yourself in the middle f the ocean and nowhere to go, but up. Playing as an "olympic" dolphin you do flips and tricks to get as far up as possible into space. Rack up points while sliding along the stars or taking a stop at the diner. This game is for everyone.
Gameplay
This game is very fun. You can play in Free swim or Normal play. Free swim has no score but unlimited time. Normal has score but you only get 2 minuets. People are getting like 200 billion which is insane. (My highest was 11,000,000 something) I found this game at school and I am hooked. It is nonstop fun and surprises. But because its only flash, it makes it even better.
Gameplay Rating: 8/10
Graphics
Not much to say about graphics, there is a dolphin, planets, fish, stars and water. Considering the game the graphics are good but not amazing. They are easy to play and easy to look at. Not much is going on at once but the game holds its graphics grounds. This aspect makes the game relaxing.
Graphics Rating: 7/10
Conclusion
The game has something to offer to nearly all players, something many games lack and lose a lot of players over. The game itself is oddly addicting, which is very impressive for a flash game. Whether you feel like going for a swim, or stopping by the diner at the end of the universe, Dolphin Olympics 2 definitely has something for you to enjoy.
Overall rating: 8/10

Paper Mario
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Game Information:
Release Date: February 5, 2001 (NA)
Developer: Intelligent Systems
Publisher: Nintendo
Genre: Role-Playing
Players: 1 Player
Ratings: E for Everyone
Synopsis
Paper Mario, known in Japan as Mario Story ( Mario Sutr?), (originally known as Super Mario RPG 2) is a role-playing video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 game console. It was first released in Japan on August 11, 2000, in North America on February 5, 2001, and in Europe and Australia on October 5, 2001. Paper Mario was re-released for Nintendo's Virtual Console in 2007.
Paper Mario is set in the Mushroom Kingdom as the protagonist Mario tries to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. To do so, he must locate seven "Star Spirits" to negate the effects of the captured Star Rod, which grants invincibility to Bowser. The player controls Mario and a number of partners to solve puzzles in the game's overworld and defeat enemies in a turn-based battle system. The battles are unique in that the player can influence the effectiveness of attacks by performing required controller inputs known as "action commands".
Paper Mario is the first installment for the Paper Mario series and is the predecessor to the GameCube game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the Wii game Super Paper Mario, and the upcoming 3DS game Paper Mario. The game received a positive reaction from the media, attaining an aggregate score of 88% from Game Rankings and 93% from Metacritic.[1][2] It was rated the 63rd best game made on a Nintendo system in Nintendo Power's "Top 200 Games" list in 2006.[3]
Gameplay
The gameplay is filled with fun adventures and tasks. The whole point of the game is to rescue Princess Peach as it is in most of the Mario game series. You start off in small towns battling easier bosses, and then you work your way up to big castles and more challenging opponents.
Mario teams up with various allies, they all have a special ability that helps Mario out in certain situations.
For example - Goombario- the Goomba, who has the ability to tell the player about any character, any environment, and any enemy.
As you can see Goombario is an ally who's ability helps Mario figure out what type of attack would be the most effective on a certain enemy.
This game takes quite some time to complete, so if you are thinking about playing it set time aside to finish the story line.
Graphics
For it's time the graphics are pretty great. This is a Nintendo64 game, so we can't expect much from it really. They are made to resemble paper and they do a good job at doing so.
Controls
I unfortunately cannot find the controller layout for this game.
I have searched high and low, but no luck whatsoever.
I will give a brief idea of the controls
A- Jump
B- Attack
Left Analog- Move straight and backwards
Right Analog- Move left and right
The controls are extremely easy to figure out, so no worries.
Final Verdict
The game is overall a great experience, you will spend hours on end playing this.
If you have played the newer versions and enjoyed them I would suggest getting the N64 out from under your bed or off ebay because this game is worth it.
Rating (Opinion)
9/10
Excellent game.

Avatar Ninja
Release Date: May 15,2010
Developers: Milkstone Studios
Publisher: Milkstone Studios
Genre: Action & Adventure
Platform: XBox 360 Indie Game
Cost: 80 Microsoft Points (1 USD Dollars.)
Age Restriction: "Unrated" (Child accounts cannot play this game) - This game was classified by the community with the following category scores - Violence=1/3, Sex=0/3, Mature Content=0/3.
Synopsis
NINJA POWER! Prove your skills as a shadow warrior by beating other trainees in the ancient ninja training course! Races on top of water, killer traps, shurikens Will your reflexes be up to the task?
Gameplay
At the beginning of the game, everything is nice, slow, and simple. As the player goes a farther distance they will level up and the game speed will start going faster making it more complicated. Not only will you have to deal with faster game speeds when you are leveling up, you will also have to do deal with a lot more complicated courses that you will have to dodge. Every so often you will see "Ninja Scrolls" floating in the air. The Ninja Scrolls are "Ninja Shadow, Ninja Score, Ninja Multiplier, Ninja Rythm, Ninja Focus, and Ninja Shield." Obviously each Ninja Scroll will do something different from another but they will still benefit you. The names of the Ninja Scrolls should be self explanatory, but if they are not here is a short explanation of what each one does.
Gameplay Rating: 9/10
Gameplay Video:
Graphics
The graphics in my opinion were okay, they could have been better, but they could have been worse. The graphics that really matter in this game are just the obstacles so you can obviously see what you are dodging and it would actually make since. (A spike in the air, doesn't look like a ball in the air.) You know what you are going to have to avoid the second it appears on your screen.
Graphics Rating: 8/10
Controls
The controls are VERY EASY to get used to. After your first game ever you should have the controls down and know what you have to do to avoid each obstacle.
*(You will need to keep pressing A during the game, if you get hit by an obstacle you will need to press A even faster.)
Extra Comments
This is a game I would recommend anyone, young or old everyone should have a fun time trying to beat their friend's scores. Also, I can say that this game for sure, is very addicting. If you just want a game where you can relax and not rage a lot, like I do, then I would definitely recommend you get this game, I can just sit back play this game and relax talking to friends on XBox live.

Call of Duty: Classic
Release Date: December 2, 2009
Developers: Infinity Ward
Publishers: Activision
Genre: Classics
Platforms: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC
Cost: $14.99 / 1200MSP
Players: System Link 2-16 / Online Multiplayer 2-8
Rating (ESRB): T (TEEN)
Synopsis
For the first time ever, Infinity Wards 2003 award-winning game that launched a franchise comes to consoles. Relive the original Call of Duty experience in HD. Online multiplayer, including Leaderboard support. Winner of over 80 Game of the Year Awards and 50 Editors Choice Awards..
Gameplay
I'm a war and history enthusiast and Call of Duty would be my favorite FPS game of all time so this one was a must. If you've ever played any other Call of Duty from the franchise you know what it's like. It's the same with any other Call of Duty when comparing the controller layout, the only thing that I would change about it is your sensitivity can only reach about what a 3 or 4 would be on other CoDs, which is a minor flaw.
Gameplay Rating: 9
Graphics
The graphics of this game you could probably compare to Call of Duty 3 or 4. It's said to be "HD", but I don't really consider any CoDs to have wonderful graphics. For what it is and knowing it's from the CoD franchise it's ok.
Graphics Rating: 7
Multiplayer
The multiplayer on CoD: Classic isn't like most of the others. This is due to the fact that there are no "Custom Classes". Depending on what team you're on you get preset classes with different guns for each team. There are a variety of maps which are pretty well made.
Multiplayer Rating: 9
Reception
This game was rated pretty low averaging only a 6.5 by most reviewers, although it does truly take a CoD fan to appreciate it for what it is , other than that if you love some good FPS bad guy butt kickin', this is the game for you.

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts: 2011
Release Date: October 19, 2010
Developers: Cauldron Games
Publishers: Activision
Genre: Shooter, Sports & Recreation
Platforms: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii
Cost: $39.99
Players: Multiplayer 1-4
Rating (ESRB): T (TEEN)
Synopsis
Dangerous turns deadly! A rash of deadly animal attacks has left a trail of corpses across the African wilderness. Play as Cole Rainsford, an elite big game hunter who has been called in to track down the predators responsible. A story of suspense, drama and survival unfold as you face kill or be killed scenarios that leave you in the ultimate fight for survival! Take on your friends in head to head multiplayer in over 30 arcade-style shooting galleries.
Gameplay
I'm not a big fan of hunting and this game was a gift, but once I got into it I almost instantly loved it. My version of the game came in a box with the Top Shot Elite,(Shown Below) Microsoft's first wireless shooting controller. Which at first seemed like an awesome idea. Although after playing with it for a while I noticed it doesn't work as it should. Either your movements have a delayed reaction or aren't even noticed at all, which was a huge turn down for me.

Gameplay Rating: 6
Graphics
The graphics of this game were fairly decent. For coming from a developer I've never heard of, the graphics for this game are in excellent HD quality. I'd probably say the best graphics for a hunting game in 2011
Graphics Rating: 10
Multiplayer
If you were expecting to run around and shoot other players with hunting rifles you will be disappointed. The multiplayer on Cabela's DH isn't like most of the others. This is because it's more like a shoot out than anything. You both start in the same view and the clock counts down from 3. You are guided through the shooting gallery and it's just a contest of who can shoot faster.
Multiplayer Rating: 8
Reception
Even if your not a huge fan of hunting games, this game is great for everybody. To be honest the death of the animals is pretty gruesome but I'm sure you could handle it. Overall this game is a great play and I would most likely recommend it to friends.
