This is game that has been out for around since 2003 when call of duty 1 came out with graphics such as these:

and now they have progressed into the newest one out:
Call Of Duty Modern warfare 3!

The Storyline of campaign:
Nikolai evacuate a dying John "Soap" MacTavish from Site Hotel Bravo, Afghanistan. They reach a safehouse run by Nikolais Loyalist allies in Himachal Pradesh, India. While Soap receives medical attention, Vladamir Makarov's forces storm the safehouse in an attempt to kill the three. Yuri, Nikolai's best soldier with a grudge against Makarov, aids Price in giving Soap an adrenaline shot to keep his heart going, and with securing a safe route to an extraction point out of the country. Together, the four are all that remains of the now-disavowed Task Force 141. Price's team then goes into hiding for two months, while Makarov does the same.
On the same day, World War III continues. The actions of Delta Force Team Metal, which includes Sgt. Derek "Frost" Westbrook, "Grinch", "Truck", and their C.O. "Sandman" (with whom Soap, Price, and Ghost previously worked together with on Operation Kingfish three years ago to kill/capture Makarov), facilitates the Russian army's withdrawal from the invasion of Lower Manhattan, New York. They start by destroying a jamming tower on top of the New York Stock Exchange, then with hijacking a Russian Oscar II submarine in the East River, in order to use its ordinance against its own fleet.
On October 4th, 2016, Russian President Boris Vorshevsky announces plans to make peace with the United States at a summit in Hamburg, Germany. However, the plan is derailed when Makarov's men hijack Vorshevsky's plane and force it into a crash landing at the airport. F.S.O. Agent Andrei Harkov attempts to secure Vorshevsky's safety, but is killed when Makarov appears inside what the F.S.O. mistake as the evac chopper. Makarov kidnaps the President, and plans to capture and torture his daughter, Alena, to force the President to give Makarov the launch codes for the Russian nuclear arsenal.
Soap eventually recovers enough to fight, and with help from Yuri, and from Price's former mentor and C.O., MacMillan, they follow Makarov's trail to an arms transport in Sierra Leone, but are unable to intercept the cargo. This cargo of unknown nature is distributed to Paris, Berlin, and London. Meanwhile, a British S.A.S. unit, including Sgt. Marcus Burns and Sgt. Wallcroft, is sent in to deal with the cargo, but discover one of the transports to be a decoy. Meanwhile, a piece of the real cargo, revealed to be a biochemical weapon from Fregata Industries, is detonated on a London street nearby, killing a young American family as it releases its toxic payload near Big Ben.
The chemical attacks pave the way for the Russian Army to invade Europe, and Team Metal is deployed to Hamburg to rescue the U.S. Vice President from a hostage situation. Acting on intelligence supplied by Price, who had extraced it from a warlord in Somalia named Waraabe, they are later deployed to Paris in order to capture Russian bomb-maker "Volk", the apparent CEO of Fregata. After securing Volk, they fight their way through the city to an extraction point with the help of an AC-130 gunship; however, the Eiffel Tower collapses into the river after a bombing run eliminates all Russian forces at the escape point.
After extracting information from Volk, Team Metal learns of Makarov's current location: the Hotel Lustig (loosely based on the Four Seasons Hotel) in Prague, where Makarov is about to call a meeting with his top advisors. Sandman informs Price of this information, and Price's team infiltrates the locked-down city. Once in Prague, Task Force 141 meets up with Loyalist Kamarov, now one of the organizers of the local Czech Resistance, to try to assassinate Makarov. Yuri and Soap take sniping positions from a church tower across from the hotel, while Price sneaks into the building itself. However, the plan goes awry when Kamarov himself is taken hostage and rigged with explosives. Price escapes the hotel just as Kamarov is blown up. Makarov reveals that he knows Yuri personally, by acknowledging him as his "friend". Makarov had already predicted Yuri and Soap's overwatch spot and had it rigged with explosives, which he then detonates.
Yuri and Soap avoid the explosion by jumping down to ground level, but Soap is mortally wounded due to the height he fell from the tower and a large chuck of debris falling on him, the force of the ordeal causing his knife wound to reopen. Yuri helps Soap and escapes with Price to a resistance safehouse. In his last moments, Soap tells Price about Makarov's knowledge of Yuri before dying. After leaving his M1911 pistol with Soap's body and taking Soap's journal and dog tag, an enraged Price punches Yuri down a staircase and holds him at gunpoint, demanding him to explain his connection with Makarov.
Yuri explains that he was a former Ultranationalist who befriended Makarov, and was responsible for escorting Makarov and Zakhaev. He was present with Makarov at Prices assassination mission in 1996, evacuating Zakhaev from the arms deal. Yuri was also with Makarov when the latter detonated the nuclear bomb in the Middle East, killing 30,000 of Shepherd's Marines. After witnessing the nuclear explosion, and Makarov's reaction, Yuri attempted to stop the massacre at the Zakhaev International Airport in Moscow 5 years later by attempting to alert the F.S.B. there. However, Yuri was found out, and was restrained and shot in the stomach by Makarov himself before the attack started. Yuri's guilt of being unable to prevent the mass murder convinces Price that they are fighting for the same thing, and Price decides to keep his alliance with Yuri.
After infiltrating Makarov's castle near Prague and learning of Vorshevskys captivity, Price and Yuri alert Team Metal of an Ultranationalist plan to abduct Alena from a safehouse in Berlin. Team Metal is unable to prevent the kidnapping, but they are able to trace Makarov's Ultranationalists to a Siberian diamond mine. Team Metal (without the inclusion of Frost) and Task Force 141 launch a joint-rescue operation to save the Vorshevskys before Makarov gains the launch codes. Their actions ensure the safety of President Vorshevsky and Alena, and end the conflict between the United States and Russia. During extraction, Sandman, Grinch, and Truck stay behind to buy the evac chopper some time, and are assumed KIA when the mine collapses on them.
On January 21st, 2017, 3 months after the end of World War III, Price, Yuri, and Nikolai track Makarov to the Hotel Oasis (loosely based on the Burj Al Arab in Dubai), in the Arabian Peninsula. They assault the hotel, with Price and Yuri wearing E.O.D. armor, which is later destroyed. On the hotel roof, Makarov attempts to escape on a helicopter, but Price jumps on, killing the two pilots and crashing the helicopter back onto the roof. A dazed Makarov prepares to execute an equally injured Price, but is distracted by Yuri, killing him instead. Enraged with the loss of another ally, Price takes advantage of the moment to tackle Makarov, wrapping a steel cable around his throat into a noose before breaking through the glass roof, resulting in Makarov's death by hanging. Price lands on the atrium floor just below and survives. As the police arrive on the scene, Price sits up in front of Makarovs hanging corpse and quietly smokes a cigar[/b].
Multiplayer:
The entire Killstreak reward system has been revamped. Killstreaks are now known as Pointstreaks, and kills are no longer the only way to increase the player's pointstreak. Completing objectives such as planting the bomb in Search and Destroy or capturing a flag in Capture The Flag awards points towards the player's Pointstreak. Pointstreak rewards are organized into three different "strike packages" called Assault, Support, and Specialist. The Assault strike package works the same as the Killstreak reward system in Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, offering rewards like the Predator drone and attack helicopters. The Support strike package offers support-style rewards, such as UAVs and SAM Turrets. Rewards from the Support category do not reset when the player dies, but accumulate over the course of a match. The Specialist strike package rewards players with perks of their choosing after every second consecutive kill. After eight kills, they receive every perk in the game, but reset back to none upon death.[17] Players are allowed to choose which Pointstreak rewards they want to use when they gain it during the match, rather than choosing them between rounds.
Along with revamping the entire Killstreak reward system, Modern Warfare 3 also has a completely modified Ranking and Unlocks system, which does not use a currency system for unlocks.[18] The player's primary weapon levels up alongside the player, and unlocks a number of "Proficiency" perks such as Attachments, (allows two attachments and is a successor to the "Bling" and "Warlord" perks), Kick (reduced recoil while aiming down the player's sight) and Focus (reduced flinching while under fire). Only one Proficiency can be put on a primary weapon.[19] Another new addition is the ability to equip "Hybrid Scopes" on a weapon, such as a Reflex Sight and a magnifier similar to an ACOG on the same weapon, and the player can switch between the scopes.[19] Modern Warfare 3 introduces a new "Prestige Shop" which will unlock only after the player has selected the option to prestige for the first time. The "Prestige Shop" allows Prestige players to use tokens they gain from using the Prestige option to buy exclusive features such as double XP and an extra custom weapon class.[20]
Several controversial perks in Modern Warfare 2, accused of being overpowered, have been removed in Modern Warfare 3. Diving from standing to prone, known as "dolphin diving", has been removed due to balancing issues.[21] Modern Warfare 3 will utilize Treyarch's hot fix system to fix bugs and glitches.[22] Modern Warfare 3 features a local and online split-screen option.[23]
Several new game modes have also been added:
"Kill Confirmed" requires players to collect floating dog tags from the corpse of a downed enemy before the kill can be registered. However, the opposing team can pick up the dog tag as well to deny the other team of a kill.
"Team Defender" requires both teams to try to capture a flag dropped by the first person who gets killed when the match starts, and hold it to gain double points per kill while the team without the flag only gets the default amount per kill.
Private matches also now include pre-made game modes including: "Infection" (where the infected kills enemies to recruit them to their team), "Drop Zone" (where the player must hold a drop zone for points and care packages), "Team Juggernaut" (each team plays alongside an AI Juggernaut character), "Gun Game" (be the first to get one kill with every gun in the game) and "One in the Chamber" (in which players are only allowed one pistol with one bullet and three lives where they can only get more bullets by killing other players). Along with this, players are allowed to create their own game modes with customized settings such as number of players and time limit.[17]

Defeating dragons will be the key to unlocking many of the Dragon Shouts.
Dragons you must battle can be grounded by heavily damaging their wings, preventing them from taking flight; expect a big landing if you drop them out of the sky, however!
Skyrim's dragons are said to be reminiscent of dinosaurs as envisioned in the Jurassic Park motion pictures.
You cannot fly dragons.
Some dragons are scripted in to the story and others can be randomly found.
There won't be a infinite amount of dragons in the game, to give the impression that you cannot wipe the dragons out over the course of the quest.

Player character begins the game in jail (again), this time awaiting execution.

Game information:
Developed by Live Action Studios
Published by Konami Digital Entertainment
Platform : Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Microsoft Windows
Genre : Action & Adventure, FPS
Age Rating : 16+
Players : 1
Additional Contents Provided : None
Release Date - Microsoft Windows & Xbox Live Arcade : March 11 2011
Release Date - PS3 : March 22 2011
Synopsis:
As the worlds great cities fall, there remains one place that becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. Its up to you to take on an enemy unlike any ever encountered before. You will have the opportunity to relive the thrill of the movie as they assume the role of Corporal Lee Imlay and fight alongside characters from the film and defend the city of Los Angeles from attacks from unknown forces.
Gameplay:
Battle Los Angeles (The Movie) was a big budget movie released everywhere, however to me it seems as if not that much has gone into this game. The gameplay is really stuttery and sometimes the player is unresponsive. The objective of the whole game is to take down a massive Alien air power ship whilst trying to fight off aliens as you progress throughout the levels. The gameplay is fairly average and to be honest if you're looking to waste some time then play this. It has no excitement factor to it and it seems a drag to play. There are various missions in the game where you have to push the enemy aliens back to their lines and stop them invading Los Angeles. There are 3 difficulties. Easy, Normal and Hard. Very simplistic. However I doubt that someone would want to play this game 3 times to complete all the campaigns on different difficulties. Also, 200Gamerscore doesn't seem enough to waste my time on this game so I just did it on Easy. Also, the fact that the game didn't even have multiplayer was abysmal and a turn-down for me. Would it have been that hard to allow a multiplayer experience on a couple of maps with a couple of players. Instead, the only thing to do is to play the campaign; over and over. Which in my opinion is a waste of time.
Graphics:
The graphics in this game are not that great. In the beginning when you first start the game, the cutscenes are comical. Like that of a comic book with speech bubbles and all that. It's supposed to be an Xbox 360 game and not a comic book. One of the things that I noticed are that when playing the game and you through excessive frag grenades to get out of a sticky situation, the game starts to lag and the screen starts to flicker. There haven't been any updates yet to address the issue and I doubt there will be any to come. Here are some photos of what some cutscenes and gameplay look like. However, it also has 3D support (which is amazing) so you can play this game in 3D. I think it's the only XBLA game with 3D support but personally, I don't have a 3DTV and I highly doubt that most people do.
This game isn't that great and I'd advise you not to purchase it because you'd be making a mistake. However, if you have the microsoft points to purchase it and you loved the film then by all means buy it, but you may be disappointed to see how much has gone into the game.
The game is on the Arcade marketplace for 800msp. Equivalent to $8 or 7 pounds on PSN.
Game Rating: 3/10 (Pretty disappointing game, no multiplayer features and excitement factor is low)

Synopsis
WARNING: This is long.
Plot
At the end of Saints Row, the protagonist was aboard Alderman Richard Hughes' luxury yacht when a bomb exploded on the yacht leaving the fates of Hughes and The Protagonist (Player Character) unknown. In Saint's Row 2, it is revealed that Hughes was killed and The Protagonist was put into a coma. Five years pass and the Protagonist awakes in a prison hospital ward and received extensive plastic surgery. The protagonist meets inmate Carlos Mendoza and the pair escape the island and return to the protagonist's home city Stilwater, rebuilt by the Ultor Corporation after a devastating earthquake that left parts of the city below sea-level. The Protagonist then rescues his friend Johnny Gat from a courtroom proceeding, enlists the help of Johnny's friends Pierce Washington and Shaundi, and begins to rebuild the divided Third Street Saints gang.[23] The protagonist, referred to as the Boss for most of the game, leads the Saints on a quest to retake the city. The main storyline is divided into three separate story mission arcs, completable at any time and in any order.
In one story arc, the Boss and Carlos meet with Maero, leader of the Brotherhood of Stilwater, and becomes enraged at Maero's offer of a 20/80 split of an unknown shipment between the Saints and the Brotherhood. This sparks a feud between the Saints and the Brotherhood, and after shaking up mechanic and Brotherhood member Donnie, a former Westside Roller, the Boss burns Maero's face by poisoning his tattoo ink with radioactive waste. The Brotherhood retaliate by kidnapping and brutally torturing Carlos by dragging him behind a truck, forcing the Boss to end his suffering with a mercy kill. The Boss exacts revenge by kidnapping Maero's girlfriend Jessica, and arranges for her to be inadvertently killed by Maero in a monster truck rally. After interrogating and crippling Maero's tattoo artist, Matt, the Boss begins to uncover information about a large weapons shipment. Maero confronts Dane Vogel (voice of Jay Mohr), CEO of the Ultor Corporation, demanding the release of arrested Brotherhood members. Although freed, the prisoners are intercepted by the Boss and when an enraged Maero threatens Vogel, he is informed that Vogel will seize the weapons shipment. The Boss intercepts the shipment and launches an attack on the crippled Brotherhood's Hideout. Near the end of the battle, Matt is killed but Maero and Donnie escape. Maero then challenges the Boss to a final face-off, but loses the fight and is shot in the head by the Boss, with his last words being "Go to hell".
In another story arc, Shaundi begins to gather information on the Sons of Samedi gang, and learns of their illegal drug trade. The Saints then target various assets in the production of the 'Loa Dust' drug. Gang leaders The General and Mr. Sunshine order the lieutenant Veteran Child to kill Shaundi, his former girlfiend. Although he succeeds in kidnapping her, the Boss kills him and saves her. The General then kidnaps and drugs the Boss and orders an attack on the Saints, but the Boss escapes and the Saints are able to hold off the attack. Through tips from an addict, the Boss uncovers Mr. Sunshine's hiding place, a meat-packing plant, and the Boss kills him there, decapitating him and tossing his head along with an assembly line. The Saints then co-ordinate an attack on the General's convoy and kill him in the mall as he flees. Unlike Ronin gang and the Brotherhood, te Sons of Samedi don't have any connection to Ultor Corporation leader Dane Vogel.
As Johnny and Pierce assist the Boss to take down the Ronin gang in a story arc, they decide to rob a Ronin owned casino. However, they end up stealing money from Ultor, who are under Ronin protection, and Vogel demands that action be taken against the Saints. Leader Shogo Akuji orders an attack on Johnny and his girlfriend, retired R'n'B singer Aisha, the result is Aisha sacrificing her own life to warn Gat of an ambush, and Jyunichi stabbing Johnny Gat, hospitalizing him. Shogo's father and international Ronin leader Kazuo Akuji arrives in Stilwater and after Jyunichi is killed in a sword fight face-off with the protagonist, disgraces his son and shows regret at giving him power over the Ronin. At Aisha's funeral, Shogo attacks Johnny and the Boss but is buried alive after being captured. Kazuo threatens the Boss' longtime friend and leader of the Triads gang, Mr. Wong. Kazuo is killed by the Boss during a Chinese New Year's celebration after being defeated in a swordfight.
In the aftermath, Dane Vogel uses the Saints' overthrow of the city to stage a coup d'tat within Ultor, tricking the Boss into killing the rest of the board. However, when Vogel attempts to take control of Ultor, the Saints stage an assassination attempt at a press conference. After fleeing to safety in the Philips Building, Vogel is met face-to-face by the Boss, and he/she shoots him in the mouth, killing him instantly, crippling the Ultor Corporation and ensuring the city under the Saints' control. Wiretap conversations reveal that of the surviving members of the old Saints, Dex Jackson took up a job offer with Ultor, and that former Saints' leader Julius Little planted the bomb from the original game's climax hoping to kill the Boss and let the Saints dissolve, through threats from undercover cop Troy Bradshaw. A mission becomes available and the Boss contacts Dex, who tells the Boss to meet him at the old Saints' church. Upon arrival, the Boss finds Julius, who was also told by Dex to meet there. The two are ambushed by the Ultor Masako Team and are forced to flee. Julius and the Boss drive around the city while being chased by Ultor Masako APCs, until they crash in the Amphitheater. The Boss then shoots Julius in the chest. Shocked, Julius explains that the Saints never solved a thing, having become the same as the gangs they had been fighting. The Boss then takes revenge by shooting Julius in the head.
Gangs
Stillwater is now run by new four gangs:
The 3rd Street Saints (or The Saints)
The Saints are the only gang that is left from the original game. Now they are dismembered, with Boss in a coma, Johnny Gat in jail waiting for testimony, Julius missing, Dex working with Ultor, Troy being an undercover cop, now chief of police, and Aisha dead, actually alive but hiding her indetity. The Boss and Johnny are the only members from the original gang. The new liutenants are Shaundi, the punk girl, Pierce, black egoistic classic music-lover, and Carlos, the hispanian whose brother was in the Saints (never mentioned but probably Julius itself). The Saints have collected and built and underground base in a hotel builted now under sea-level.
The Brotherhood
The Brotherhood are heavy metal fans and truck riders gang, lead by Maero. Donnie, ex-member of The Westside Rollerz, is their new mechanic. Usually they are hanging around at the seaport. They are specialized at smuggling weapons supllies. Maero. The Brotherhood liutenants are Donnie, Jessica, Maero's girlfriend, and Matt, Maero's tattoo artist. They and they drive red trucks with flame vinvls and golden trim. Maero's vehicle is a big red flamed monster truck.
The Sons of Samedi
The Sons of Samedi are a Haitian gang, lead by The General. The Sons of Samedi don't have a hangout, but The General is driving around in his green 6-wheeler tribal vinvl limousine. They are specialized at drug dealing and producing. The Sons of Samedi liutenants are Mr. Sunshine, a haitian voodo player who is also The General's right-hand man, and Veteran Child, the egoist kid rapper whose carrer and record shop is financed by The General. The Sons of Samedi drive green tribal vinvled lowriders.
The Ronins
The Ronins are the Japanese gang lead by Shogo Akuji. Shogo is the Ronin's boss in first, until his father Kazuo arives and takes the charge. Later he is the liutenant of the group. They are specialized at casino buisness and protection racket. The Ronin's liutenants are Shogo (later) and Jyunichi, who is the Samurai expert. They drive motorcycles and tuner cars.

While we havent seen the game in ourselves, weve gone to great lengths to nail down as much as possible the veracity of our sources. We believe that the imagery and chief details are accurate. That doesnt mean things cant change before release, but this appears to be a full run down of where Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software is onModern Warfare 3 as they add the final polishing touches.

Modern Warfare 3 opens as Modern Warfare 2 closed: The United States under siege by Russian forces, ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov on the loose, Captain John Soap MacTavish and Captain John Price wounded and on the run with the Russian informant known as Nikolai.
Fleeing to a safehouse in Dharmasala, India, the three are attacked by Makarovs men. In this firefight players take on the role of Yuri, a loyalist who works for Nikolai. Their safehouse compromised, the group flee the area in a helicopter.
The game then cuts to Manhattan where Russia is launching an attack on the city from a fleet of ships parked in the Hudson River. (It appears the famous U.S.S. Intrepid may be destroyed.) The U.S. calls in Delta Force to repel the attack. You take on the role of Frost, a Delta Force operative under the command of Sandman. Your goal is to take out a jamming tower on top of the New York Stock Exchange to open the area for a U.S. counterattack.

Following the mission, Delta flies out of the city on a Blackhawk, gunning down enemy choppers as they make their way to the harbor where they have to infiltrate and take down a Russian sub which is coordinating the attack.
The Campaign Settings of MW3
Dharmasala, India
New York, New York
A plane transporting the president of Russia
A town in Sierra Leone
London, England
Mogadishu, Somalia
Hamburg, Germany
Paris, France
Prague, Czech Republic
A castle in the Czech mountains
Berlin, Germany
The Kremlin in Moscow, Russia
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Washington. D.C.
As the New York missions wrap up the game jumps forward in time half a year, thrusting players into the role of a Russian agent tasked with protecting the president of Russia as he flies to sign a peace treaty with the U.S. The plane is attacked by hijackers mid-air who attempt to kidnap the president and his daughter. The daughter manages to escape. The president of Russia in hand, Makarov vows to prevent a peace treaty by getting the launch codes out of the president and launching an attack against the U.S.
The game then returns us to Price, Soap and Yuri, now in Africa in a search for Makarov. They meet with a local South African arms dealer who tells them about a shipment of chemical weapons that Makarov is trying to buy. The group make their way to Sierra Leone to secure the weapons from African militia.
Next, players take on the role of an SAS operative who is tasked with stopping a delivery of weapons of mass destruction at a London dockyard. A gun battle ensues, and the agents are chased through the London subway. The mission culminates with a series of unmarked trucks exploding in front of the house of Parliament, releasing a deadly chemical agent.
Several other European cities and military bases are hit by similar terrorist attacks backed by Russia, and the death toll rises to the tens of thousands. The series of chemical attacks opens the door for a Russian military blitz strikes across the continent.
Price discovers that the South African arms dealer who tipped them off about the chemical weapons deceived them and travels to Somalia to find the man and interrogate him. Through the arms dealer, Price discovers that Makarovs right hand man, Volk, is hiding out in Paris.
The games attention next shifts to Hamburg, Germany where players take on the role of a U.S. tank gunner fighting to push back a Russian advance backed by armored divisions.
After capturing and interrogating Volk, Frost learns that Makarov has a meeting in a Prague hotel. Players control Yuri as he and Soap slip into the Russian-controlled city and set-up an ambush for Makarov in a church bell tower. Makarov somehow catches wind of the trap and escapes. Soap, Yuri and Price then have to fight their way out of the city.
Yuri leads the team to one of Makarovs headquarters in the Czech mountains and the group infiltrates the location, looking for clues. They discover that the ultranationlist has the president and is trying to get the codes out of him. Makarov has also discovered the location of the Russian presidents daughter. The group move out to Berlin to try and prevent her kidnapping. Playing as Frost, gamers must find the daughter and protect her, while making their way through war-torn Berlin. The daughter, however, is captured and flown away.
Frost next makes his way to the Kremlin where a task force of operatives attack and free the hostages, but Makarov manages to escape again.
The games final mission occurs in Dubai, where Yuri, Price and Sandman launch an assault on a heavily guarded hotel, eventually finding Makarov and, yes, finally killing him.
It also appears that the game may also include a post-credits level that features the burning of Washington, D. C.
The stage seems set for a passing of the torch: from player-controlled members of Task Force 141 to the new characters from Delta Force.

Dead Space 2 is the sequel to the 2008 surprise hit Dead Space. The no-longer-silent Isaac Clarke finds himself trapped on a city-sized space station called the Sprawl, which has been overtaken by another Necromorph infestation.
Overview
Set three years after the first game, the player once again takes control of Isaac Clarke as he continues his fight against the Necromorph threat.
Following his encounter with the marker in the first game, Isaac is now plagued by disturbing visions. The church of Unitology and the ominous Earth Government continue to play an important role in Isaac's fight against the Necromorphs.
In Dead Space 2, Isaac takes the fight to the Necromorphs, suggesting a much more aggressive style of gameplay than what was seen in the original Dead Space. Isaac Clarke now has lines of dialogue, however, the familiar formula of the original remains unchanged; consisting of claustrophobic encounters in dark corridors as well as in open zero-G environments, tactical dismemberment with hard hitting engineering tools and lots of heart-pounding scares throughout. The game was released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on January 25th, 2011.

My Rating 9/10 (Loved this game)

Modes:
Hard Core Mode
Hard Core mode is presented as the toughest difficulty mode in the game. However, the description is quite misleading. All ammo and health pickups are lower than usual but the enemies in the game are the same as they are on the survivalist difficulty. Meaning that this mode sounds significantly more brutal than it is. You cannot start a new game + on hardcore mode, meaning you must start from scratch, however the only real difference than playing survivalist is the 3 save limit. As soon as you have used these saves, the game will not allow you any more and every time you die you will revert to your last save, as checkpoints are (almost) completely disabled in hardcore mode.
There is (essentially) a free save in hardcore mode that won't count as one of the precious three if you're on the Xbox 360 version of the game. At the point at which you swap to disc 2 acts as the only checkpoint in the game. If you die after this point without saving, you will start from the beginning of disc 2. However, this is not permanent and if you quit out without saving further, the checkpoint will be gone. In addition, the PC version had a glitch where loading a Hard Core save after quitting the game reset the three saves allotted to players, essentially allowing PC players to play through the game saving normally. This was "fixed" in a patch.

Multiplayer
Multiplayer will consist of four players playing as humans and four human players playing as the Necromorphs. Gameplay seems to be reminiscent to Left 4 Dead. The human players are tasked with completing a certain objective, such as arming a bomb or defending an area under a certain time limit. The enemy players play as varying types of Necromorphs, their objective being to impede the human players from completing their mission. Gamertags or PSN names appear over the player in the same style that the HUD is displayed in the single player game. A 3D holographic readout of a player's name hovers over their avatar. Other mission elements such as the time left to complete an objective is displayed in this same manner throughout the map.
Once a round has been completed, the four human players will be switched to the other side and play as the Necromorphs, the four Necromorph players then play as the humans. There won't only be four monsters at a time attacking the human players, other A.I controlled Necromorphs will join the fray as well. This is once again very similar to the Left 4 Dead game mode called "versus".
The Necromorph team can play as any of the 4 Necromorphs listed below (There is no limit as to how many of each monster type can be on a team):
Pack member
Lurker
Puker
Spitter (female Slasher)
The game includes five objective based maps, all of which are timed. An example of one such objective is the arming of a bomb by the human players while another one has the four human players frantically running towards the escape pods at the end of the map.
Players playing as the humans can choose from a variety of different skins, but all play like Issac from the single player. Necromorph players have a wide selection of the different types of Necromorphs found throughout the single player campaign. These different monsters have access to unique abilities such as climbing up walls, attaching themselves to players or spitting gobs of acid at their opponents.
Necromorph players will not be able to spawn anywhere they like. There are several fixed spawn points in the form of grates and ventilation shafts which are strewn around the map. The Necromorph player can then pick the spawn point most advantageous to them.
Weapons from the single player game such as the line cutter carry over into the multiplayer game. Abilities such as stasis are also available and make it possible to freeze human opponents during a match. There will be a level progression system similar to games like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The levels and experience that players accrue are applicable to both the human and Necromorph characters. Unlocks may include new skins and access to new weapons and items.
