You can not be Sued. as long as he gave Verbal Permission for someone else to use his phone. There is nothing he can do... And the fact he doesn't have Insurance on an Iphone is Preposterous. Its HIS fault. End of story.
P.S. Most of these kids are Immature and Young on TTG. So be careful on who you take advice from. ;)

They can press charges mate, but they cant sue you or anything because it was an accident.
Fair enough, if you delibrately got the iPod and chucked it at a wall at full pace, then they could, but they cant sue you for that. Dont worry mate.
