The floods have been all over the news today and my school has been closed because of them. I live about 8 miles from the worst affected areas, so we came out with just our beck burst, but thats it. I feel verrrry sorry for the ppl in cockermouth and keswick. Btw i live near whitehaven if you know where that is

lol i dont think so. It is brown as hell! And thanks casca i will keep you guys posted . Im glad i live on a hill, but there is no water around us to run down. Our town is lucky

exactly, i just heard on the radio a policeman has gone missing as he was on a bridge when it collapsed. I hope he is ok

So far they are not as bad as last years floods but i reckon eventually they will be worse this year, i saw it on the news this mornin, i never used to get flooded in london but apparently now i live in an 'at risk area'

yeah i also think it is bigger than the 2005 floods.
