Nothing is going to beat Windows. It may be good, but Windows is top dog. I don't see it being the future O/S.

I use linux all the time, its almost my primary operating system.

Although it can be hard to use at first as you have to do a lot of things yourself and are not spoon fed like on windows.

Linux will never be the best because if its problem with gaming, Most games are not supported for Linux, and have to be run through a third party app which drastically increases resources used to run the game, So being a PC gamer, ill stick with my windows.

Not everyone plays games. I say the only thing Windows has over Linux is game support and a massive user base.

nice post, but in my opinion i hate ubuntu. sure it might be faster than windows, but i grew up with windows so i am used to it. i also like the flow and style of windows.

also, what makes me not like ubuntu more, is that when i dual booted on my laptop, it **** up all of my programs, and slowed down my computer even after i un-installed it. my laptop still isnt the same.

i have 11.04 on an old pentium 4 desktop, and it actually runs decent.
