For in ears, the Xeport 5010 would be great on the cheap. There really isn't much better in this price range to be honest. Anything better is only minutely so. They aren't the most detailed, but it's so worth the fact that they are completely customizable.

Ultrasones should be lovely for electronic music. I'd get the HFI-780, but they're not the only option. The Brainwavz HM5 (Fischer Audio FA-003 rebrand) should be excellent as well. They're available for pre-order now for less than they will sell for.

You could also spend more and get the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro.

PM sent!

What Ishcabible said, basically. You'll have a hard time getting more out of your money with the Xeports.

Beyerdynamic DT770? It seems like you'll be using these for DJing, and those things are like tanks. The DT990 would work too.

Hey, I'm looking to replace my old in ear earphones the " JVC HAFX1X". They seemed pretty good from my point of view however I'm guessing they're actually pretty awful . The only thing that I Didn't like about them was that the rubber buds were non stop falling off.

anyways I'm looking for some new ones and hopefully you can help,

Budget: 30-35 GBP (However im quite flexible on the budget. if there is a better pair of ear phones for only abit more im willing to spend more.

Music preference: Trance,House,Progressive,Dance,Drum & Bass, basicly EDM

Type / form factor and portability: In ear , main use is whilst im out and about

Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): N/A

Source(s): iPod Touch , Sony Ericsson X8 and sometimes my laptop.

Thanks

Those are actually decent IEM's that you had! The Xeport 5010 would be a bit better though!

Awful? Not at all! The FX1X is a great budget bassy IEM.

And for like the tenth time today, I'm going to recommend the Vsonic GR06.

It's not as bass-heavy as the FX1X, and is more neutral. I prefer neutral for EDM, personally, and I listen to A LOT of it.

I can't wait to compare the 5010 to the hype monster Klipsch S4. Going to be very interesting.
