ZoopaZexyZwoosh wrote Budget: Anything from $40 - $380

Music preference: 95% Bass-Heavy rap/5% dubstep

Type / form factor and portability: In Ear or Over ear (Read additional info), and yes portable (again read additional info).

Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): Since I listen to Bass-heavy, I would prefer Closed.

Source(s): iPod, Desktop, and Laptop

Additional Info: I want to also be able to use these headphones for working out and would prefer to be waterproof/sweatproof. But I will also be using it for recreational use on my desktop.

Thanks in advance. And act like I DO NOT care about my money range, its my birthday coming up

Honestly, get two pairs of headphones. Future Sonics AtrioX for the gym, Ultrasone Pro 900 for desktop use. They're also very portable for over-ear cans, but nothing Beats IEMs for working out. It's really not good to do that stuff with over-ear cans.

If you want an IEM, check out the Dunu DN-12 Trident and Soundmagic PL30.

If you're OK with an open clip-on, the Koss KSC75 is freaking amazing for the price.

None with a mic attached. The only good ones I can think of are Sennheiser's PC series. Get an Audio Technica AD700 with a Zalman ZM-1. That will thoroughly destroy any "gaming" headset out there.

I know it may destroy it but I don't want to be gaming with two head sets on ?

It's not. The ZM-1 clips on to the cable of the headphones. Like so:

If you can get the Brainwavz HM5, which is ~$140, I think it would be worth the extra cash. Unbeatable for the price for a varied music taste.
