$350 is kind of criminal, but Dakmart's $213 price refurbished would be okay. They sound relaxing, like a Bose headphone. I still think the QC15 has better NC and a more relaxing sound, which I think is the type of sound an NC headphone should have. In this case, Bose wins.
If things work out right, I might have an NC headphone to compare them with directly soon. ;)

Hey r00t, could you help me find some good headphones other than Beats, i already have them.
Budget: around 100 ( $160 )
Type of music: Drum and bass Dubstep and a bit of hip hop. I like my bass
Over ear/on ear dont really matter. Not in ear
Closed
Id listen to them on my phone mainly and sometimes my laptop
Portability is a must, i like the idea that my Beats fold
Must be able to take a drop or two, im quite clumsy.
Could you find one that is loud but keeps its quality and bass?
Cheers

I'm guessing you're in the UK. If you can stretch 20 quid, these are your best option: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

My sister is trying to buy headphones and she wants them to be girly/shiny. She was wondering if the Monster Diamond Tear headphones are good and worth the money. If not here's a form.
Budget: up to $200
Music preferences: pop
Type/form-factor: Over-ear/on-ear
Open or closed: closed
Listening from: Ipod/phone
Details: Wants them to have girly design.

They aren't horrible. They're the first Monster headphones I'd actually get. But otherwise there's the Audio Technica ES7 for much cheaper.

Can you just give me your general thoughts on the Sennheiser HD 598s?

Heyo. Back again for advice on some headsets.
I'm currently using Sennheiser PC360's connected to the Astro MixAmp and they're great. I was wondering if anyone has tried the Beyerdynamic MMX 300? I'm getting really mixed reviews from searching around whether or not it's worth the extra money to upgrade. Open to others suggestions as well if they're in the same tier. Thanks

They're okay. They have somewhat grainy treble, but I really like their mids. I'd pay about $150 for them. $200 is a bit much.

Superb sound... good bass, in my opinion the best headphones i've ever used
What else have you tried? I thought they were decent, but only worth their price point. They sounded way too clouded to compete past the $100 price point. Though they were about even with the Audio Technica M50 (which is way overrated to begin with).

Budget: $20 CAD maximum
Music preferences: Trance, Dubstep, Rap/hip-hop, Pop, possibly some other genres but mainly those ones
Type/form-factor: In-Ear
Listening from: Phone, computer
They have to be comfortable, I don't have a big ear canal, so anything smaller would be preferred. Also, I want them to sound decent at the least. I made a thread about it earlier, but I've decided to post about it here. I was thinking about getting the Phillips [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] /3580, the Monoprice 8320, or the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
