Just finished, black screen so far. Should I just manually reboot and see if F8 will work?
Try it. The repair MIGHT have fixed it.
YESSSSS F8 loaded! Now to see if the good luck continues!

EDIT: And another WIndows is loading files screen...
EDIT: And now it won't load. Going to bed now, hopefully it will fix itself.

I'm still sticking to my gut and saying the HDD problem. You will probably need the Windows 7 OS on a disc to fix this problem.

Dude....I told you what to do..I had same issue only weeks/month ago...

Use win 7 boot disc and repair it or re install and save your old files=done..

Yeah but before we didn't know all the things we know now. Better to be safe than sorry. He could still find a way to fix it for all you know.

most likely something in your computer or on your hard drive is causing this. if you can't fix it you may have to re-install windows. pm me for me. i have experience with fixing computers

I knew all the things that was going to be happen before he ran thru all of that seeing how I know exactly whats going on...
