sakemodz69 wrote Don't you get taught a second language in education ? You expect everyone to learn your "world language" but your to lazy to learn a second one why is this ?

It's required to take a second language for at least 5 years where I am (grade 8-12).
I can speak French, Spanish, and Mandarin, remember not all Americans are lazy ;).

Umm, as a matter of fact, every public school in my state requires 3+ years of launguage, and most states have similar graduation requirements.

And if one doesn't intend to leave America, he/she has no need to learn another language (I do anyways).

Also, English is used by several huge countries, so if I wanted to leave the US, I could go to the UK, Aus, etc...

Also (2), what annoys me is when hispanics move to America and don't learn English..
THAT'S something to be complaining about...

Well "America" doesn't have an official language so you shouldn't have to learn how to speak English if you live in The United States!

It would be a lot better if you knew many languages instead of just one!

sakemodz69 wrote OK maybe some Americans do learn 2nd language i was wrong to generalize everyone but ive never heard (i have met many Americans) speak a second language and most i have met cant even speak English properly :/

Hm, you claim most can't speak English properly? You're not even using it properly.
And most education systems require a second language in High School. Do some research before you post these things, it can offend people like so.
