Yes i think it is good to have a competitive side if your a gamer but sometimes people seem to get a bit to serious with games and now it seems to be about being the best 'quickscoper' or best 'trickshotter' and these game are supposed to be fun not serious. But i think its good but its get a little out of hand sometimes especially now mw3 is out.

I think competition is better as it will only help you improve your game when playing.

You may 'suck' at first, but with practice you will become good at the game, whether you improve fast or slow.

I think people will vote 'No' because they don't like losing. If you're the best on the game, you won't really be able to improve effectively.

No, I think personally people would give up on
campaigns after so long and not be able to. They
would just turn over to multiplayer mode. This would
make servers not as fast and more newbs..

I think it is good how in certain campaigns you can
select your game difficulty. I personally would like
more competition because I buy a game mainly for it's
campaign and after completing it on the hardest
difficulty, I would like it if there was a difficulty
harder than the highest at that moment.

So, I think no, no more competition is currently needed

There is enough competition already. People regularly break stuff when they get really pissed off by losing something while playing a certain video game. If you keep adding it will eventually get out of control and losing control leads to nothing good.
In my opinion this is definitely a bad thing but that surely depends on what you mean by "more competition".

I feel like people think of playing video games is something a little kid does. Maybe age 9-13? No one knows that it isn't the case at all. With more compition in the gaming world then it could be more wide spread. People could really make a living off it. With enough tournys. And enough people willing to compete then yes, it will be w good thing.

So the question of the day: Would more competition in the video game world be a good thing?

Yes, because more competition means more people. More people means more money. More money means, well you get the point. If there were to be no competition in the Video Game World, it would be boring and no trash-talking. If there were to be no trash talking people would just sit there and play the game. But if competition grew to Contests,Prizes,Money, or the Call Of Duty competitions that go world wide, many people would come. This stuff is all over the news as well. If alot of people go to a World Wide Competition for a Video Game like...Halo and other people see it, the people who see it will want to go buy the game and play it. People who go to competitions are sorta like "Idol's". If we didnt have more competition it would be alot better for the Video Game enviorment.

No.

People get to mad about competition and get really angry and start flaming peeps. If you are a good gamer that doesn't moan and thinks it is just a game yes,

Both .

Would more competition in the video game world be a good thing? No/Yes because all competition over Video game leads to is a 10 year old yelling "**** your Mom! or I'm Hackn' y'alls account."

In Gamebattles or MLG its fine.
It just annoys me when you Hard Scope one guy he says "1v1 me you (Insert Rainbow Vocabulary Here) I'll **** you up the ass just like I did you mom last night."

Video Games originally made to be fun, but with all the competition in Public Matches and Flaming and trash talking, its pretty annoying.
