I guess it could be a good thing, but I play GB (gamebattles) and It gets way too boring.

The reply with the most thumbs up belongs to: -Lyrical-
-Lyrical- wrote I personally think it would be better.
Competition makes better players.
This world is already at a competitive peak so why not?

For the console/developer aspect:
Same as above.
More competition would easily bring better quality games, consoles and more gaming equipment to the public.

For example:
Sony and Microsoft obviously competed in the race for a better console,
They are still fighting for that title.
Whats come of increased competition between those two companies?
Arguably the best 2 gaming systems in the world.

Same example for Treyarch, Infinity Ward and now EA with First Person Shooters.

Competition means Progress

The reply I personally liked the most belonged to: Dreams
Dreams wrote more competition would be a good thing.

Right now all the major companys are getting lazy there are far and far less new games every year. majority of them are just sequels or remakes. If they started to get into it more and put alot more effort then it would help them compete amongst one another and put full effort into there games. Not only would we be happy but it would make the developers happy aswell as have alot more to do and be proud of. With the lack of competition i dont feel that the video game industry will last much longer.

Thanks for participating all who did!
