It actually isn't all about God but it is all about Jesus being born.
That's the reason for the season, 3 wise men brought gifts to Jesus, that's why we
exchange gifts.

Keep Christ in Christmas. Also I hate when people use the term xmas.


Very good point, but i celebrate it because i like the family time and food, and gifts and stuff. The pilgrims are basically dead, but we read about them in books, just like god or jesus, yet we still celebrate thanksgiving and Christmas. Does that mean that people who havent seen a pilgrim walking down their street shouldn't celebrate thanks giving?

Well Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and atheists don't believe in God.. So I don't really think it's being hypocritical...??? I'm not atheist so I don't know their take on it.
