a lot of people will tell you to leave electronics,don't, when i cant fall asleep i try to get off everything related to electricity and technology but it never works, at least not for me, so just watch something cool like a movie

Try doing some activity before you go to bed or eat a big meal. If not idk go see a doctor

And waking sleep paralysis sucks
It's a possibility but it has never happened to me. Another thing you could try right now at least is making some warm milk. There's some sort of chemical in warm milk that makes you tired - it may not be the taste but it's worth it.
