Very wrote
-666- wrote My belief.
The main idea and main concern of mine was to basically parallel the 2 time periods of being critisized and all the open minded people in the world's present day life and the time period of Jesus' life and show how similar they are. I wanted to highlight the hypocrisy and hold a mirror up to all the self righteous, Holier-than-thou people and show them how full of **** they are. We have our own beliefs and we aren't afraid to speak out about them, We are not satanists, We have a positive message towards finding self-worth and inner peace, We don't discriminate against ANYONE regardless of the way they look, their faith, sexuality, or race, and believe it or not, I have a tremendous amount of respect for Jesus Christ. Yet despite all these very moral and positive vibes, we are still constantly ripped apart for being who we are. Sounds really similar to what happened to the man the people that criticize us put all their faith in. The difference between myself and Jesus is that he was trying to convince people to believe in him and a higher power (God) to find salvation... Whereas *I'M* trying to convince people to believe in themselves. God does not control your life, YOU do.

My friends and I are 100% completely aware that NOT ALL Christians or followers of any religion are close minded and do the terrible things they do ( say ur going to hell or whatever they have told you thats crazy to put you down for not believing in there faith). I've met SO many awesome people in my travels that are Christians etc.. and regardless of whether they like me or not, they still know how to keep an open mind and be respectful. I don't want anyone reading this to feel like they should be angry towards every person of any faith, or that we are attacking their faith directly. The is very plainly written about the people who abuse Gods name by using it to profit or cause harm to others emotionally or physically, but it's even more importantly written as a call to arms to ANY person in this world to come stand together to fight the ignorance that halts the progression of mankind. Hate me for that, I f****** dare you.

Damn, very good input, determining whether to put that in the topic or not..
Bottom line is, Be your own god. Be a good person. Open your mind before your mouth
And if there is a heaven God should accept you.

sultehh wrote I think religion is ridiculous. It's 2012 and people still believe in that invisible jewish man, a book that contradicts itself and the belief of a "God" helping you get through your day.

It especially annoys me when people tell someone else "You have a God given talent." No, God didn't give him talent. He didn't get lucky and have a God grant him his skills. The kid worked hard, practiced over and over again until he became passionate and caring for his work, God didn't help him. How dare you tell the kid he got lucky; give him credit for doing something a lot of people can't do.

Edit: I don't hate Christians or Muslims, honestly. I don't like how they try to spread their religions and shove it down other people's throats.
What I really enjoyed about your post is the last paragraph. About the god given talent.

I agree completely. There are a lot of little sayings dealing with God. The most popular is, of course, oh my god.

i personally am not very religious but the way the universe came about baffles me. If you have ever hear of deism this best describes the way i am religiously,
deists beleive that there had to be something to create the universe but then whatever something that was just let it go and take its on course and does not interfere.
I simply cannot wrap my mind around "the big bang theory" how can there be nothing then be something? due to this i have no other option than to look to a higher power for the creation of the universe but then that raises more questions in my mind..... how did this higher power come about. If the beggining is ever explained in a way i can wrap my mind around i will not be religious at all but until then i have no other option than to look for a higher power for the beginning of the universe.
thats just my view.

Another thing that grinds my gears is that people will automatically assume I am a satnist for how I dress and my beliefs. Its ridiculous,
Also! I feel like sharing a story about what is going on and I would like your opinions
So I am a freshman in High School. I take choir
We are very good and best in the state
So we have a up coming concert at a place called "South East Christian". Let me tell you a story about that "Church" *cough cough* CULT!
When I was originally LDS (Mormon) I went to one of there Youth Group New year party with a good friend.
One of the pastors asked me "What religion are you"?
I said "Mormon"
He laughed and said "Have fun in hell, unless you join this church"
So, I told my teacher that I can not attend due to religious beliefs. So he said NO NO its not religious but if you DO NOT go I will fail you.
How ridiculous is that?

Yes, and thats one of my issues with people saying that the Big Bang Theory is stupid. If everything coming from nothing seems wrong to you, explain where your God came from. This isn't about you dvd, just religious people in general. I agree with aspects of what you are saying.

I would like to share a song with you guys,
Morte et dabo
Morte et dabo

So he came forth and said onto me
Son, you are forsaken
Condemned for the sins that you live
I offer you forgiveness

Bow down before me
Bow down before me

I will never bow to he who claims to be divine
I'll tear down your gates with my bare f****** hands
And burn the world that you rule over
No matter how convinced you are, you're not a god of mine

I never believed in you
From what I see it was justified
I never believed in you

This power over the masses is a gift you don't deserve
When your blood spills, we'll drink from your skull
You can run, you can hide

B****
I'll fu***** find you
I'll tear your eyes out of your self-righteous face
Lord
I'll f****** find you
I'll tear your tongue out of your rancid f***** mouth

Heaven will, burn to the f****** ground
Your world will crumble, and fall from the skies
Blood will spill, and rain upon the earth
Your reign is over, and I'll wear your crown
This is your demise
I know you feel it in your chest
This is your demise
It's getting closer
This is your demise
I'm creeping from the depths of hell
This is your demise
I know where you sleep

I never believed in you
From what I can see it was justified
I never believed in you

What a way to end the world
With false hope in a false god
What a way to end the world
With false hope in you

It is pretty rough in hardcore. but I enjoy it very much

That is stupid. Thats like implying that its a demand to be religious. ):< If there will be religions there needs to be religious tolerance at least.

the entire beginning is what baffles me, and when something cant be explained theres no other option than look to a higher power. its not that i strongly beleive theres something that created the universe its just as of no i have no other way to view it :/
