-2Legit2Quit- wrote Ok so I'm a fitness fanatic so i know what I'm talking about first off i'd say the track but try to change it up and run around your town. It'll provide more of an "experience" for your body and will make it work harder. Cardio is definitely a very important part when trying to lose weight and also just great for anyone! As for weight lifting i wouldn't do too much until you've really slimed down but definitely do it as it'll build muscle and get you toned! I would also recommend doing High Intensity Training like high intensity intervals and stuff. I'd also recommend doing explosive plyometric workouts and also the biggie change your diet! I can't stress it enough! Hope i helped!
you know what your shit man! i need a work out bud and you are the guy i need (no homo) haha thats what i am doing actually

Machen wrote YouTube thehodgetwins. They will answer lots of questions and they're soooo funny!
Hahaha I also watch hodgetwins they are really funny, and also have some very usefull information.
On subject I think you should run in a place that is the most comfortable for you.
I did some cardio but I never ran what I did was jump rope it's a GREAT cardio workout you can loose a lot of weight if you do it and keep on pushing yourself.
Jump rope is fun and you don't need an actuall jump rope. If you can't get one do what I did I found a piece of rope and I cut it the perfect size for me.
When you fold the jump rope in half the ends should reach up to your armpit or shoulder no longer than that because then it won't work right.
I hope you achieve your goal!

run until you loose a decent amount of weight and then start a regular work out routine.
