But that's only because I have had 2 semesters of c++ and 2 semesters of Java under my belt

I am starting out with Java. Actually, I started with Visual Basic. Now I'm doing Java, and soon i'll move over to C#

Since most people suggested the classical suggestions I will throw in two new ones. Perl and Python are two easy languages to wrap your head around imo, and have some very cool and unique features to them. Like GCI scripts.

I find it really hard to learn a language like C++ or C#

HTML has nothing to do with gaming but I do think it's the easiest to learn by far.

yeah, i just want to learn a language so i can get a feel for what coding is like..

im learning java right now but my friend wants me to learn C# with him so we can make a indie game -.-
