I cant even run Minecraft Maxed out smooth at 1920x1080
I get like 45-50fps

when my friend has the exact same specs but he has a worst gpu and he runs at same and he ;plays at 1920x1080 fine at like 120fps

I get lap spikes as well

There must be something wrong.

I have:
AMD FX-6100
Radeon 7770 1GB Ghz Edition
8gb ram

There has to be something wrong. Can you help me please

Are you using any mods that make the game more demanding? Do you have the latest drivers installed? Have you tried re-installing the drivers? Did you have another carcd previously installed?

No mods
No DVD drive I just searched the web for latest drivers and windows update helped
yes I had another card previously and it was 6 years old and this one only beats it by 20fps

And you need to make sure you have all the drivers from your previous card uninstalled.

Oh dear I never unintstalled the last cards. I cant find anything to unitstall.

The last card was Nvidia geforce 610 and all the nvidia folders have no uninstall button and why is it important to uninstall last cards drivers? How can that affect me?

WINDOWS AERO HAS BEEN DISABLED SAYING MY PC CANT HANDLE IT AND THE THEME IS WINDOWS BASIC AND I AM SO ANNOYED.

I will try a system restore and see if that helps

I am most annoyed about aero cause it reminds me of my old pc and it gives me a headace

Uninstall all drivers, use the auto-detector, and calm down because there's nothing wrong. using your computer without graphics drivers will result in things like aero not working.

Well I finally managed to complete a system restore to 1 month ago and aero is working again etc but a month ago I didnt have this graphics card so I will probably need to do updates and sorry but let me explain something:

You see, I live in the middle of nowhere. No where near anybody I know. I waited for this pc for 1 year exactly. Did you know I planned building this pc since January? Well I did. So you can imagine how much this means to me and knowing that the only amazing thing you own has something wrong? Well I panicked. I started sweating and shaking thinking I **** up everything.
I don't have the richest parents. I don't get everything I want but for once I got one thing I loved the most and my pc. I don't have the worlds best pc like you so you can imagine what I was experiencing.

I was so excited that I went to xmasclock.com and started checking everyday from 250 days to go.

Im sorry but I hope you get the idea. :/

Then there should be no problem playing minecraft. If you are only getting 50 fps, the problem is vsync. Go into video settings, and turn vsync off. What vsync does is lock the framerates to the speed of your monitor, which is probably 60Hz. Disabling vsync takes the limit off, and the framerates will be much higher.
