You'll be fine with WarZ and any Call of Duty game however DayZ and the Arma engine brings pretty much all rigs to its knees but you should have no problem running it at medium/highish settings.

I would say a 7870 as they are fairly cheap right now. I would recommend ASUS and Gigabyte. Gigabyte has arguably the best coolers on their GPUs.

The problem with DayZ is that it's optimization is FAR from decent.
They promised better optimization for standalone so there's no way to know. By the way DayZ standalone will be running on the Take On Helicopter engine/ Virtual Reality.
