Unscrew the casing on the harddrive (which you need a torx screwdriver to do) then you can just push the actual harddrive into the port on the slim. Or like a data transfer cable.

Have you done this and is it safe?

Oriqinal wroteI have I unscrewed my Hdd with a torax-8 screwdriver then put in in my slim so I had a my old memory all you need is to look at the bottom of your slim and there should be a weird ridged that looks out of place will push it left I believe and lift up once you unscrew your HDD either slip it in there or if you got a shell put it in the HDD shell but if you want to make it fast but a transfer cable anywhere that sells Xbox stuff and plug it In to your HDD and your slim(preferably the back there's more USB slots)inuyasha555 wrote Unscrew the casing on the harddrive (which you need a torx screwdriver to do) then you can just push the actual harddrive into the port on the slim. If you had a transfer cable you can maybe just plug the transfer cable with your HDD in it into your acboc and it'll work, if that doesn't work you can transfer all your contents of old HDD onto your new HDD on the Storage/Memory section of your xbox with both HDD's plugged in.
