If you take the old hard drive apart you will see sata cables.
Just plug those into where your slim hard drive go and your good to go.

Oriqinal wroteyh its safe ive got my old hard drive in my slim and nothing has gone wrong since i did itinuyasha555 wrote Unscrew the casing on the harddrive (which you need a torx screwdriver to do) then you can just push the actual harddrive into the port on the slim. Or like a data transfer cable.
Have you done this and is it safe?
