AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE is only 90 usd on amazon. I hear its a great for overclocking.

this is what i would go with.

Option 2 has much better gaming performance not as powerful in app's though

Now I know this isn't exactly budget, and it's 5 GBP over, but if you pay the extra it would definitely be worth it.

i was thinking of the amd 6100 or 8120 and the graphics card to be a amd 7770 because i heard there really good

and you can overclock the 8120 over 4.5ghz on stock fan

I'd say INTEL, but usually they experience overheating after a few months.
