Moiros wrote There is always re-formatting your hard drive if thats what your looking for. wasnt sure if you wanted to wipe it completely or not but there is also always disk defragmentation which (correct me if I am wrong) under properties if you right click on your hard drive.

Disk de-fragment doesn't delete anything or wipe anything, disk defrangment re-organizes the data on your harddrive so your computer has an easier time finding things so it results in your program loading faster. I don't mean to sound cynical with this post just helping you understand what disk de-fragment is and what it does.

this will DELETE ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING off of your main harddrive you will need to RE-INSTALL windows and your computer will only boot into its BIOS until you install windows

you may want to look up a guide on how to re-install windows BEFORE you delete it.

hope this helps

Hey Zach, I'll leave it up to the OP to decide if he wants to go your route or mine, if he goes yours I won't post anymore that way we don't clog up the thread and he can find the next step easier, but good response! I would've explained that to him, but was kind of afraid to put someone who hasn't heard of and OS into the BIOS +Rep to you though

Yeah I was hesitant of giving him the information but seeing as he has a recovery disk I don't see how much could go wrong :p

Thank you for the rep by the way.

Well aware of that. Haha. I was sort of unclear of what he was asking for so I just guessed and hoped I could help. Trust me, I had my fair share of hard drive problems.

Oh haha, alright I was under the impression you were trying to give him advice to remove programs but now I see. Always good to give people alternatives though.

Awesome man! Next, we are going to access the control panel from the new admin account and remove the old user account. If you have ANY questions, don't hesitate, just ASK! There will be a few more steps following this so we will just go bit by bit until it is done.

Ok great job man we are almost there! Next, we will need to access the C: drive and head over to C:\Users where we will locate the old account and any files that were originally inside. *NOTE* It is possible that the account is not listed in the directories and that the files that were associated with the account were removed as well.

In the event the account is still listed, we will simply be hitting the delete button and erasing all of the folders within.

So go delete the remaining files or let me know if they aren't there!
