so ive been doing alot of research into the cpu and which one i should get and everytime i ask people on ttg they always go , intel i5 so much better than amd ... boo amd suck blah blah blah .

but after doing my research into this i found that yes the i5 is better at running older games like crysis 2 diablo 2 etc than the amd fx 8350 however theres one thing you guys forgot to mention... after watching numerous videos on comparing the two cpu using the same set up ( apart from motherboard but similar ones) all of the videos are showing that on games like crysis 3 and bf3 were the developers as using new engines the Amd fx 8350 is beating the i5 with average and minimum fps ? so as a result this surley shows that the amd is better for the future ?

i just dont understand why everyone jumos straight to intel and pushes amd to the side....

This is probably why. Everyones knows with the i5 you will get better fps most of the time.

I recommend the 3570K because it performs better in more games.

There's really not much to it.

Go with the i5 3570k. You'll get more out of it.

It's not like we are fanboying Intel, it's just statistics.

The fact that an i3 2320 can competively compete with one of AMD's high-end CPU's should be enough.

Mixed reviews. I would personally go with:

1. A 8350 if I was on a budget, but still looking to get a high end CPU for gaming. Motherboards for AMD tend to be cheaper for what you get.

2. A 3570K if I had the money and wanted something that was fast out of the box, and didn't get a hot.

8350 overclocks better, but doesn't have as good per core performance.

The 8350 works, on the whole, much better with windows 8 than 7 because of the fix they have due to processes being moved from core to core when there's no need to do so.

His testing was too flawed to make that valid. The results are also not replicable.
