New games are taking great advantage of the 8350 as they utilise more cores so games this year onwards will run better on the fx8350 than the 3570k

A few games that can take advantage of the extra physical cores can perform a bit better on the 8350. All things considered, it's not enough to say the 8350 is a better choice. It's not a bad CPU by any means, though.

Interesting to run into this topic since these are the processors I've been debating about for the past month or two. From what I've gathered from looking around a lot, they both are truly great options. The thing is though the Intel does in fact perform a little better, especially on games. If I recall correctly, the Intel wiped the AMD Vishera (FX8350) for video editing (or it might be the other way around, I ultimately ended up deciding to get the FX8350 in the end a few weeks ago, so the reviews have left my brain by this point). I also hear the Vishera is a beauty to overclock. But anyways, you can never go wrong with Intel, so by all means go for it.
