I have a IPhone 4s, and i saw my friends Galaxy. Personally i like the IPhone better
but the Galaxy is a hella of a nice phone

Personally I think it is down to opinion.
I have always used iPhone so I prefer them over other phones. Also I like the e-mail on the iPhone which is predominantly what I use my phone for.

So, the iPhone should not really be included in this topic.
The new Samsung and HTC have the latest tech where as the iPhone is still on last years.
But
The HTC beats the S4.
Yes im aware the processor is slower on the HTC but the battery life compensates for this.
Also the HTC is using a 4 megapixel camera and pulling off the same image qualities as the S4.
The build quality has improved on the S4 over the S3 but still doesnt touch the build quality of the HTC.
S4 has a few new features.
Air Touch...a bit of a gimmick really as only works on music and images.
Smart scroll however is pretty decent as is the function that knows where your eyes are in relation to the phone to stop it rotating which can be annoying bed.
The sound quality on the HTC is awesome due to the front facing speakers.
However if you get a few S4's together and use group play, that is simply amazing.
Overall I will go for the HTC One.
But you could have done with throwing the Sony Xperia Z in the mix instead of the typical handsets.
All this is the opinion of an iPhone and Apple user.
But I do sell phones for a living.

No mobile is superior. All have different specs, it depends on the owner and their preferences. Apple has the most user friendly interface and is more widely known so is easier to use if you're not very good with smart phones or even if you are. Some people could argue the Sony Xperia's are better phone's because of the camera quality etc..
However, I would take the Samsung Galaxy S4 over any other modern smart phone.

I personally like HTC phones as I have the HTC Desire S.
