Gun control has no point. If someone needs a gun, they will find a way to get a gun.

If you're going to make a valid argument you must conclude both sides, one must agree the reason for such bans is to prevent outbreaks of killings through the use of firearms.

If you like the impression given of by walking into a shop with a firearm you're hugely mislead; It doesn't make you look tough at all and anyone can agree it's a needless use for self defense. Most people don't even carry firearms for self defense but to act 'cool' and for this reason it disgusts me to see some people carry such.

There needs to be more strict discipline on individuals of whom enjoy the right to bear arms such as how stringent the licencing is. If you need a heavy assault rifle while walking in a public store to feel safe that's not right and you'd really need to evaluate the impressions you're making based on your paranoia. Admittedly you should have the right to bear and yield firearms but, I don't agree with such in a public domain.

*I am just writing an opposing argument considering I couldn't fathom the fact that you thought carrying an assault rifle in public was "awesome", though frankly I have no concern for this topic regardless as I live in England.
