Seeing at the end of the day many students are contacting their rides (parents) this rule is BS. Ever thought of petitioning the school. That is what my old school did a few years ago and the student leaders wrote up why the rule was stupid and was doing more harm than good. They had enough signatures from students and even a few teachers to get the rule changed by our principal. My high school today lets us use our phones between classes, in class if nothing is going on and the teacher is cool with it, and at lunch.

Its just the school system trying to rip kids of and make money. In my opinion phones are not that distracting unless you're a gossip girl..

Well, At my school we have our own iPad's we can only use those, but to the people who say ''Oh it's illegal'' get a grasp of reality it's not illegal if you are doing something your not suppose to be doing they can do whatever (within reason)

You're at school to learn not text your buddies. There isn't any rash you need your phone out in the first place.
