Because a lot of you guys don't understand what is going on let me enlighten you. The Federal Government will shut down at 12:01 am Tuesday if the Senate (Democrat Majority) does not pass the bill that has been pushed through by the House (Republican Majority). The bill essentially makes Obamacare useless even though it already passed by taking away any funding towards it. If the bill fails, the Federal Government will lose funding until further notice / When the Senate and House convene to re-open the floor with bills. This does not really effect everyone here. Of course it does a little but it won't change your day to day life unless you or a family member is a Federal Government employee / worker. Yes military budget falls under Federal Spending but a bill has already been passed that will continue to pay soldiers and military workers if a Federal Government Shutdown were to happen. All of the schools and local government jobs will be fine because those are under STATE Government, which is funded by state taxes. Though States receive Federal money, their majority is through state taxes so do not worry, everything will continue just fine. If you're in DC it's a bit different but everything will keep running. So keep yourself up to date on the news, post in here if you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them all. And I hope I cleared this up and helped some of you. Feel free to comment your opinions and all!

If by BS you mean the Debt Ceiling being raised then the younger generation is screwed to a certain point. We can't continually raise the debt ceiling and then hope we don't have to eventually pay. 20-30 years from now I assume Federal Taxes are going to skyrocket in Order to pay of our nations insurmountable debt. But, hopefully bright new leaders will come into play. Again it is politics, so that is unlikely. Just hope for the best.

I try to know what's going on in politics, without getting too worried seeing as I'm only 15 and shouldn't have to worry about stuff like that. I didn't know what was going on, thanks for clearing this up man. I had no idea what to think.
