OhDavidLuiz wrote Over 8GB of RAM isn't needed for the moment, but it makes it future proof as games will need more in the future
+ Corsair has a very cheap 8GB stick which may be slightly slower compared to the 2 4GB sticks but the benefit of being future proof and cashing in on a good deal makes it worth it for me
Besides his build spent way over the top on things that weren't needed
I've lowered the budget regardless so the 4GB/8GB sticks can be sorted by him
It's slow ram, a 2Tb hard drive, no ssd and there is no such thing as future proof..

Thanks but id rather get a more powerful CPU and motherboard and not get the SSD
The cpu's are the same, just factory over clocked which you could do your self I left it at 733 which left you enough to add a cpu cooler and over clock the different your self.
Cooler I'd use for that build. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The 280x will max BF4 on ultra no problem, if you can afford it bump that 500GB HDD to a 1TB but keep the SSD for OS and your main programs.
Keep this thread up for a bit there may be some better deals going around since its Christmas time.
