The one thing that pisses me off is how fast food workers are asking to raise minimum wage when most of them have not even gone to college. I know there are people who work to pay for college or going to night school because money it tight and work at fast food chains and I think they deserve more money because they are working for a better life. BUT people who dropped out of high school and are working at fast food chains demanding for money just pisses me off. YOU DONT DESERVE IT. YOU **** up your life by dropping out or doing something stupid or not choosing to go to school.

You don't know their circumstances, so don't pretend like you do.
There are some people that drop out to support their ill family.
Some don't go to college because they simply can't afford it.
Raising minimum wage isn't a bad thing.
People are paid minimum wage in a lot of other establishments than just fast food as well.

That's all true, but if we raise minimum wage, then the price of everything goes up. There wont be a dollar menu anymore, and more than likely gas prices will increase...
I agree that their life is hard, but I don't think they should be paid more because of all the economic consequences...

I know there are people in hard times they deserve a pay raise. Im talking about the people who choose not to go to college or do something just because they don't want to or its hard. I mean no disrespect to anyone living in hard times and forced into working in these jobs to support there families

Not it won't.
The dollar won't bottom out because of $1.50 raise to the minimum wage.
The fact you say that people should work for less so that you can pay less is absolutely repulsive.

Raising minimum wage actually is a bad thing as this will make prices go up and taxes go up. Raising minium wage helps some and hurts others. If you drop out of high school it i usually your fault only people who make minimum wage will like this .

Well most of you are overlooking one thing here. Raising minimum wage is a problem. Okay time for a lesson: Minimum wage is exactly what it sounds like, the minimum wage by law you can be paid. Now raising this sounds like a good thing so we have more money? Right and Wrong. See now if you raise the minimum wage the price of everything will go up. The price to manufacture the goods will go up as the workers pay has gone up. The price to ship the goods will go up which will drive up the price in retail settings. The salary of the workers in walmart go up because again minimum wage went up and again they raise prices to compensate for the money lost.
See it can be a good and a bad thing, it all goes back to when the stock market falls again then we are back to square one.

Zuhpi wrote You're a idiot, people don't have to go to college to be successful, they ask for more money because people think fast food is an easy job. If you worked at a fast food place for a month and got minimum wage for the work you do, you would cry like a big *****. Also if you drop out you can still be successful, I know a lot of people who are drop outs and make more money than you big *****. School isn't everything you ****** idiot big *****, a lot of people don't go and will probably make more money than you BIG ***** IDIOT!
Paramedics earn 8-9 dollars an hour and that job is 100 times harder then working in fast food. If I was working in fast food I would either have to because I need to support my whole family and etc (people who do this deserve a pay raise) or working to pay for college. But people who make the choice to not to move forward do not deserve a raise

Walmart is statistically the worst and most underpaid job you can work at.
