In contrast to what he said, the mic that is standard with the PS4 isn't all that bad and is just what it is, a mic. It's not super quality but it will get you talking with others and the sound it clear. Talking with the default headset is fine, there is just no gizmos or gadgets to it like a turtle beach or what ever gaming headsets do.

I also think the mic is horrible. Although one interesting thing is you can use voice commands with the headset.

I don't mind using the default mic, I got used to it. For a while the mic hurt my ears but I just kept switching ears when it happens. Plus its almost a perfect fit. Pretty cool how we can use voice commands with the mic, no camera needed. I also recently bought a rocketfish ps4 head set which is better than the default mic but isn't too bad.

In regards to the recording, I find it doesn't always record the last 15mins. Something they may need to fix but once loading up a game it will record as normal, once it hits the 15min marker it will stop and another one will not pick up. So just before every game I have to press the share button and it will start recording from there.

Graphics on PS4 are amazing, and I recommend getting Battlefield 4 on PS4 as it will really make quite the experience. Campaign isn't too bad but Multiplayer is a blast! CoD Ghosts campaign is good but Multiplayer is really bad, constant frame drops with no fix from many updates they released, the maps and spawns are just garbage. I would recommend staying away from Ghosts on PS4.

Overall, my preference is Sony. Although I was with Microsoft for maybe 6 years, I switched to the PS3 after I got a console ban and from PS3 to PS4. I really do quite like Sony rather than Microsoft because of the layout, exclusives and I made all my friends switch from Xbox 360 to PS4
