-Looper wrote Yea its a great idea! Why don't you throw on a steak while you're at it.
heating isnt a problem ive thought that out its a low grade card so it doesnt accumulate too much heat and i have lots of fans to do the job

It doesnt matter whether or not you can "lots of fans". The heat wont draw from the gpu and you'll fry it. Go ahead and take the fan off your cpu heatsink and tell me what happens.
ok i understand what your saying now basically the GPU fan pulls the heat off of the heat sink so blowing air on too the heat sink wont do any good because its not pulling it away correct me if im wrong

Correct, even if you flip your case fans and drew the heat, it wouldnt matter. You gpu would fry in minutes.
ok i just got another idea lemme know how this sounds to you ok i take the cooling fan off and input the pci-e in between the heat sink and fan mount in a spot where it will fit in the pci-e slot aswell as the GPU fitting in place

Uhh, not sure what you're saying. Can you tell me the name of your gpu and motherboard?
yes its the Asus Geforce GT 640 for the GPU and the motherboard is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Ok let me get this straight. Theres not enough room in the case? Or not enough room on the motherboard..?
not enough room on the board because the GPU takes up 2 expansion slots and in that second slot is where the pci-e slot is which is blocked by the GPU fan mount

Oh ok, you need the PCI-E x1 slot (small one) but the gpu is blocking it.. ahh ok. and what do you want to put in the slot? send a link to it
yes here it is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Ok, 3 solutions ( 2 reasonable )

1: You buy a usb Wireless Adapter
2: you buy a pci Wireless Adapter ( not pci-e)
3: (last resort) you refund your gpu and get another, more low profile one
see im in the position to not spend money or if i do very little another person said there was some sort of adapter/extension i can get do you know anything about that?

Well right now ill tell ya if you buy a pci e extension, youll be spending more than a usb Wireless Adapter
ok thanks for all the help im glad you guys were here before i did something stupid i appreciate all the feedback
