i agree with the above statement are the sticks in the right slots check your motherboard manual

If they're not the same model number, they may not work. Since they work individually, that tells me it's a compatibility issue or you have a bad slot.

They're different model numbers, but the slot is fine. Did some swapping around and each stick works fine on its own in both slots. According to: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] these two are compatible both with eachother and my system.

The site is wrong, then. When you mismatch DIMMs, you could have perfect compatibility by chance or complete incompatibility like what you have. The result is not predictable.

Damn. :/ The model number is different by one figure or something silly like that, I never knew it could have such a big effect.
