Both are very high-end and completely overkill for gaming. Get a i5 4670k and a nice motherboard with a z87 chipset.

OP like kingler said that processor is overkill. What exactly are you planning to be doing on this computer?

You don't need a i7 for gaming, an i5 would be perfect. The motherboard is a bit overkill, and the MSI G45 is a great entry board to OC.

With gaming, the i7 4770k and i5 4670k are very similar. I would only say keep the i7 if you need it for rendering and editing, as hyper-threading would make it useful, and as well it would be faster, for gaming it really is a waste.
I suppose with money like that to use you have a decent GPU which will run most games anyway.

Well, as i've linked the two before, that's what i'd go for. However i'd wait for someone who's better with motherboards, and i'm in the UK, so in the US it might be different prices for different boards which are different in the UK.

If you will overclock:

If you will not:

These are general recommendations. What will be using them with? What's your budget?
